In the Woods Somewhere

~Y/N's POV~

I haven't lived in Gravity Falls long. I had moved here in search of a better life, but that didn't quite pan out. I work at Greasy's Diner, as a waitress. The pay sucked, but I had no other choice. I began to think about my life back in Jersey. My parents, my family, my old home. The thought of them was even painful. I was lost in thought for the rest of my shift. I served a couple more tables before my shift soon ended. I said goodbye to Lazy Susan and grabbed my things. I was thankful the day was finally over.

I decided to go for a short walk in the woods, once getting home to my apartment. I've always been drawn to the woods, they seemed to comfort me. As I wondered, I discovered a strange triangle-shaped statue, with one eye? 'Hmm, that's a bit strange' I thought to myself. I ventured deeper into the woods, hoping to not see anymore strange things tonight. My legs soon began to ache, and I realized I had accidentally went to far into the woods. I was lost. "Great. Just great. That's just what I needed today." I sighed in frustration, and sat beside a large tree. I had no clue what to do. After god knows how long, my eye lids felt heavy, becoming harder and harder to keep them open. Just as I had drifted into sleep, I heard something. 'Was that a voice? No, it couldn't be, I'm in the middle of nowhere. Wait, the voice was, yelling?' My heart started to beat out of my chest, my breaths became short and fast. And the voice along with feet pounding hard against the ground got closer. I jumped to my feet and hid behind the tree.

"Gotcha! See Dipper? Nothing can outrun me." A mans voice said

"That was amazing!" A very squeaky voice yelled, out of breath.

I slowly peaked around from the tree, trying to get a look at who was speaking. As I looked around, I saw a very tall man with a long coat and glasses holding up a weird creature that looked like a octopus, and a much smaller boy with a hat admiring the creature. "What. The. Actual. Fuck." I meant to whisper to myself, but apparently it came out a bit loud. I immediately put my hand over my mouth. I heard the older man shush the boy.

~Ford's POV~

I shushed Dipper once I had heard a voice near us. Someone is watching us. I pulled out my gun hidden in my lab coat and slowly crept up to the tree, careful to not make a single sound. As I reached the tree, I quickly whipped around and grabbed whoever was behind it, pinning them to the tree with my gun pushed into their jaw. I took a closer look at the person. A girl? What is she doing out here at this hour?

"Who are you? And why are you here?" I asked her with a intimidating voice

"Y/N. I got lost while I was walking and ended up here, then I heard you guys and I was frightened." Her voice was timid. She really was scared. As I examined her face, I had soon realized she was very beautiful. I removed my gun from her jaw and pulled my elbow off of her.

"Where do you live?"

"Falls Apartments" She replied

"Do you need a place to stay for the night?" Why did I even ask that? She could be evil. She could be working with Bill.

"I- uh- are you sure? I don't know who you are."

"My name is Stanford Pines, I live nearby. And yes, I'm sure, there are dangerous things out here."

"If its alright with you, then okay."

I lead her back to the Mystery Shack, Dipper was close by my side, asking many questions about her. Y/N, I think that's her name, followed behind us, her arms tightly wrapped around her. The rest of the walk was silent. We got back to the Mystery Shack, and as we walked through the door, Stanley, who was in nothing but a tank top and boxers, jumped off the couch and ran to Y/N, already flirting with her.

"Aye Sixer, where'd ya find her?" Stanley asked using a flirtatious voice.

"In the woods somewhere"
