Raven's POV

I walked away from the mirror and made my way to my desk.

The other day I finally wrote Jonathan's euilogy. It took a lot out of me, but now that I look at the paper I realize that it's barely half of a page.

Knowing that I don't have time to write more, I stuff the euilogy into my purse and start making up the rest of it in my head.

Grabbing my jacket off of the desk chair I turn around and head towards the door. Swinging the door open I find James standing in front of the door with his hand in the air.

"Hey." He says as he drops his hand.

"What's up?" I ask as I start walking down the hall.

He runs to catch up to me and stuffs his hands in his pockets.

I look at what he's wearing. He's wearing a black suit with a white button up and dress shoes.

"Why are you so dressed up?" James looks at me then scratches the back of his neck.

"Please don't tell me you're going. You know what Luca said. You can't go. The don't want any Devils around and now that they know about you who knows what could happen. I'd rather there not be some huge fight." James sighs and shakes his head.

"Luca talked his men into letting us be at certain stations. They know we won't let you go anywhere without us watching, so Harry met with them and convinced them to let us be stationed at the funreal. You won't be able to see us, but we will see you. And if they let me, I'd like to see him one more time."

I stop at the front door and turn around to look at my brother.

"I know this has been hard on you, but-"

"You're kidding right. You can't try and comfort me when you can't even comfort yourself." I blink away my tears and turn away from him opening the door.

I hear him sigh.

"Raven I didn't mean it like that." James says in a low voice.

"It's fine. I've gotta go or else I'm gonna be late." I walk out of the house towards my car.

Looking across the street, I see all of the boys outside wearing suits.

I don't acknowledge them as I get in my car and drive towards the church.

The drive is rather quick and I make it to the church faster than I expected. As I pulled into the parking lot I take a long look at the church.

The church is made entirely of grey brick. The old rustic feel of the building and the way the sun is hidden behind the clouds gives it a slightly creepy feel. The church looks quite small with beautifully designed glass windows on the sides and front of the building.

I quickly park my car near the front and speedily make my way inside. I open the door and quickly step inside to find Janine and Luca standing by the door that leads into the chapel. When I walk in they turn and Janine looks relieved to see me.

"I thought you weren't gonna show." She says as she rushes over to hug me.

"I was held up for a bit, but I'm here." I give her sligth squeeze before pulling away.

"Is everyone here?" I ask.

"Almost everyone. Dax and the other guys are running a bit late. They, uh, had to take care of something." I watch as Janine shakes her head and rolls her eyes.

She walks away from me and Luca to stand in the window that looks out onto the parking lot.

"What's wrong with her?" I whisper to Luca.
