Son of Chaos

The end of the begining

Really quick most of these characters belong to Rick Riordan. This takes place during the battle of Gaea. I changed some stuff to make sense. Enjoy!

Percys POV
As I stumbled towards Gaea to place the final blow, to kill her. There was battle raging on everywhere I looked.

"Son of Poseidon...you are one of the few who could actually defeat me..." Gaea rasped out.

"Just....die...already!" I yelled lunging at her. I stabbed her heart, the final blow. I stumbled, unable to stay on my feet. That's when I collapsed and darkness overtook me.

Third person pov

Devon, a new camper, saw an unconscious Percy Jackson and a dead Gaea laying on the ground. He ran up and grabbed RipTide. He stood.

"I have defeated Gaea herself!" He bellowed.

"I saw it! It was Percy!" Yelled Annabeth. "You did nothing!" Some muttering was heard but soon it was drowned by cheering. This Devon hadn't even been claimed yet!

Percy pov
I woke up in the medic tent. Will was standing over me.

"How long was I out?" I ask, sitting up.

"Long enough for Devon to steal credit for killing Gaea" he said grimly. "He was claimed too. He's only a son of Hermes. He's not even powerful!" Will sounded very angry.

"It's...fine Will...let him feel powerful...they'll see he's weak." I said. He nodded.

"Anyway...you should be good to go. You do have a pretty bad cut on your arm but as long as you bandage it and take care of it it'll be fine."

"Thanks Will" I stood and walked to the dining pavilion. I saw a group of people talking to Devon. I shrugged and sat down. In the middle of my meal Devon strode up to me with his group.

"How does it feel to be second best Jackson?" He smirked.

"Actually it's really nice, when the gods want someone to kill a big scary monster I won't have to do it. It'll be you. And if you die then dang it would be back to me" I said smoothly. He snarled.

"Duel, five minutes" he challenged.

"Fine" I said coolly. "But Chiron and others are coming to watch."

"Fine" he stomped of while I finished eating. A few minutes later I walked into the arena. Devon was there with armor on. He had a 3 foot long sword. He looked surprised that I came in without anything besides RipTide.

"Let the battle begin" Chiron said. Devon lunged at me, I sidestepped easily. He stabbed at my shoulder but I ducked. So far RipTide was still in pen form. I jumped over him, disarming him. He looked shocked. I put him blade to his head.

"We have a winner" Chiron said. Devon grumbled about how he let me do that. He stomped off and I just walked to the beach. I sat there for hours just staring at the water.

"Hey Seaweed Brain" Annabeth said.

"Hey Wise Girl." I countered. She sat down next to me and payed her head on my shoulder. We stayed like that for about an hour before Michael Lee came up to us furiously. (I don't remember who his parent is so I'm gonna say Apollo)

"Percy! How could you break my bow! You know it was a gift from my father!" He shouted

"I didn't." Percy said looking confused.

"I've been with him for over an hour Michael. He didn't do anything" Annabeth said.

"Sure he didn't" Michael said stomping off.

"That was weird. Over the next couple days similar things happened. Almost everyone hated Percy now. The only people who didn't were Annabeth, Leo, Jason, and Nico. Piper got angry because 'Percy' ripped her only picture of her dead brother.(I made him up) Hazel because 'Percy' had stolen her sword and broken it. Frank because 'Percy' had kissed Hazel. Percy didn't, Devon shoved him into Hazel and it made both Frank and Hazel furious.

"That's it" I said to Annabeth. "I'm leaving. I don't want to stay if no one wants me to."

"I want you to" Annabeth said.

"Annie, everyone at camp hates me. I don't want to stay if my life is going to be all my friends turning on me. I'm lucky Devon hasn't found a way to turn you and the gods against me." I quickly packed my backpack and Annabeth grabbed her.

"If you're going so am I" I smiled. We both ran to the edge of the camp borders. We were met by Nico, Leo and Jason.

"If you guys are going so are we. I'm not staying in this h*ll hole alone." Jason said.

Time skip to about a week after they left

"Percy, we need to go hunting" Annabeth called.

"I know" we had been out in a Forrest for a week. You'd be surprised at how many monsters found us. I felt terrible for bringing my friends into this. We were settling down, ready for the nights sleep when a blinding light appeared. Zeus.

"What do you want" I asked

"You are all under arrest. For the murder of 5 mortals"

"What?" We all shouted in unison.

"We didn't do anything!" Nico shouted. Zeus was about to speak again but was interrupted by a man stepping out of a pure black portal.

"Chaos" Zeus said bowing. None of us bowed. We bowed to no one. If they killed us, we were done with life anyway.

"Zeus, I will be taking care of these demigods" Chaos said calmly.

"Y-yes my lord" Zeus disappeared.

"Perseus Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, Nico Di Angelo I would like you all to join my army. I am Chaos, created of all things."

"When do we start?" I asked grinning.

Time skip

"Sky! Get back here!" I shouted running after him. We have enjoyed our new lives with Chaos. He gave us all great power. He adopted me as a son and gave me the power of all, only bested by his own. We all had new names, the old ones brought too many memories. I was Alpha, Prince of Chaos, commander of the Elites, 2nd most powerful being. Jason was Sky, second in command of the Elites. Annabeth was Owl, strategist and 3rd in command of the Elites. Leo was Fire, 4th in command and weapon maker. Nico was Death, 5th in command. We brought some friends back as warriors. Luke was back. So was Zoe and Bianca. Luke was known as Omega, he was the 2nd 2nd in command. Zoe was Star, she was the 2nd 3rd in command. Bianca was Night, she was the 2nd 4th in command. We also brought back Castor. He was Vine and 2nd 5th in command. We had over 50 well trained warriors that we could bring to wherever the fight was to help.

"Sky! Give it back!" I shouted after him. He had taken my sword that Chaos gave me. It was a blade that could split into two identical blades called Darkness and Pain. Chaos said it symbolizes what I've been through. Finally Sky stopped. I grabbed my sword and he laughed.

"Alpha" called Omega/Luke. "Chaos needs us" When we arrived at the room Chaos had a grim look on his face.

"I have a mission for you." He looked sad. "On Earth"
