The year is 2020, Jacob Rose just scored the 2019 F2 championship, and everyone expects a move towards F1 with McLaren. Rose announced a press conference and the common idea was the F1 ride. Today is the day of the press conference, Jacob sits down and takes a deep breath
"Hello everyone, I have called this interview to announce my 2020 plans. Everyone is expecting me to announce a Formula 1 ride... but it's not that. In 2020 I will return to my roots, I will race in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series with Niece Motorsports in the #40 truck. Zak Brown, and everyone at McLaren is fully behind this idea and will support any ventures I will have. I will maintain my McLaren Development role and look towards a Championship back in America."
This is it, Jacob Rose will return to the Truck Series garage after disappearing to Europe after a crash at Chicagoland. Rose will step into an oval race for the first time in almost 2 years.
