Hinata shook his sleeping boyfriend happily.
"Kawa! KAWA!"
The brown haired male grumbles, sleepy golden brown eyes fluttering open to glare softly at hinata.
"ITS CHRISTMAS!"
Oikawa smiled, though hinatas enthusiasm made his head throb he ignored it, pulling the ginger down onto the bed an arm wrapping around him to trap him in place.
"its also 6am, shoyo, I think we can sleep a little longer hm?"
Oikawa purred, kissing hinatas cheek and watching as the orange haired boys face flushed a deep red. Even after all this time of them dating, he still got flustered by the slightest show of affection.
"Gah! first of all its 5:57! And Christmas is about waking up early!! besides I have some really cool gifts to give you!"
oikawa rolled his eyes and sighed leaning in to kiss hinata again but failing as the smaller boy wriggled from his grasp.
"fine fine, ill be down in a minute~"
Hinata beamed, laughing giddily as he jumped up and down for a moment before darting out of their shared bedroom. Oikawa watched, leaning on his hand and sighing dreamily. Todays the day...
Hinata grinned, his whole body shaking with excitement as oikawa reached into the now unwrapped box, pulling out a baby blue leather jacket.
"is this..."
"The one you saw in the shop that one time?! You said it looked cool so I went and bought it!!"
Smiling gently oikawa took hinatas hand, laying a small kiss to his knuckles. he really was such a little ball of sunshine, he always did whatever he could to make oikawa happy, and oikawa appreciated each bit of work hinata put in to do that.
"thank you, chibi-chan~"
Hinata flushed at his old highschool nickname, swatting oikawa away and standing up.
"o-okay the gifts are done! ill go make food now!"
Oikawa watched his bubbly boyfriend skip towards the kitchen, only turning back around as he disappeared through the doorway. He smiled at the star on top of the white, blue and orange themed Christmas tree, sighing in content.
his life really was perfect, when he was in highschool he never thought that his little crush on the small, excitable middle blocker would land him here. Living with said middle blocker, on Christmas day 6 years after graduation...
"nows the perfect chance, tooru."
he muttered under his breath, slipping the small black velvet box from his pocket. Oikawa stood, casually wandering into the kitchen to see hinata struggling to tie the strings of his pink 'kiss the cook' apron.
"Yahoo shoyo, baby theres one last gift I forgot to give you~"
As hinata spun to meet his gaze oikawa dropped to his knee, holding out the small box. Hinata stared in awe, standing still for what felt like hours before his eyes began to fill with happy tears.
"shoyo Hinata, my sweet chibi-chan... will you marry me?"
Swiftly wiping his eyes hinata launched at oikawa, knocking them both to the ground.
"YES! YES! YES! YES!"
nuzzling his nose into the side of oikawas cheek hinata giggled.
"ah, im glad."
oikawa hummed, placing his forehead to his new fiancés.
"you're-"
hinata sniffled.
"youre my Christmas miracle kawa!"
oikawa laughed, pressing his lips against hinatas softly, pulling away not a moment later.
"And youre mine, chibi-chan~"
