The date was October 15th, 2021. It was a rather peaceful day in Negi Root City. Let's see what the d'Aglior family is up to. 22-year-old Angelica d'Aglior is with her boyfriend, 13-year-old Ciel DuBlois, watching TV. Suddenly, the RealSyd Bulletin came on.

Interviewer Miku: We interrupt your program to bring you this breaking news. An inmate at the Negi Root Police Department has taken her own life. Diana Goldenbury, 28, tried to separate her own head from her body, but failed. Instead, she bled out. The police found her body in the execution room.

Agitation: Oh man...

Ciel: That's a cruel way to die...

The couple saw Soleil's spirit float over to them, holding Diana's sapphire necklace.

Ciel: I'm guessing that was Diana's?

Soleil nodded.

Agitation: We need to tell Martin (Monopolized Romance Len) about this.

Ciel: I bet he'll be relieved.

Soleil: I found out where he and his parents are living now.

Agitation: I thought they lived here in Negi Root City?

Soleil: They had to move after Martin got rescued. Probably to get away from Diana.

Agitation: That makes sense. I'll go with you, Ciel. Besides, dinner will take awhile.

Ciel: Right. Take us to Martin's house.

And that's what Soleil did.

Angie and Ciel arrived outside of a rather elegant-looking house.

Agitation: I've heard that Martin and his parents were rich. Just not as rich as Kasha's family.

Ciel saw Kasha's spirit come out.

Kasha: Now that you mention it, this street looks familiar.

Agitation: Well, let's ring the doorbell.

She did that. Martin answered it.

Monopolized Romance Len: Who are you?

Agitation: I'm Angelica, this is my boyfriend Ciel.

Ciel: Hello.

Agitation: Can we please come in?

Monopolized Romance Len: I don't know. I mean, my parents are out right now.

Ciel: It'll only be for a few minutes, Martin. That's all we ask. Please?

Monopolized Romance Len: Okay. I guess it's alright.

He let Angie and Ciel in the house.

Agitation: Nice place.

Monopolized Romance Len: Thank you. My parents and I moved here after I got rescued from this psycho lady named Diana Goldenbury. I'm glad she's in jail.

Ciel: Uh...that's why we're here, actually.

Agitation: Martin, about Diana...I don't think you saw the news earlier.

Monopolized Romance Len: Is there something I should know?

Ciel: Yes. She...took her own life. In the execution room at the NRPD.

Martin's eyes widened.

Monopolized Romance Len: Are you telling the truth?

Ciel: You want proof? Here.

He showed Martin Diana's sapphire necklace.

Ciel: The police confiscated this necklace after she got arrested. When she died, the necklace came to me. I have a way of talking to ghosts, like my sister Soleil.

Agitation: What he's trying to say is, Martin, that Diana is a ghost now.

Ciel: Did you want to talk to her, by any chance?

Monopolized Romance Len: Don't bother bringing her spirit out. I'm trying to get away from her. I'm just trying to forget about those 6 horrible years I've been captured. But it's so hard. Lucky for me, I have my parents to help me during these difficult times.

Agitation: And what about a girlfriend? Do you have one?

Monopolized Romance Len: At the moment, no. But my parents really want me to move on. I've tried to tell them that no one would go out or even marry a rich boy like me, but they didn't listen.

Agitation: Well, I hope you'll find that perfect someone eventually. What's your sexuality?

Monopolized Romance Len: I'm straight, obviously.

Agitation: It's obvious Diana wasn't the one for you. Besides, you and her were like 7 years apart. She's tortured you for so long. You'll probably want a girl that listens to you.

Monopolized Romance Len: That does sound nice.

Agitation: How old are you now?

Monopolized Romance Len: 21.

Agitation: Do you want a woman that's a little older than you? Or do you prefer younger women?

Monopolized Romance Len: I don't mind an older woman.

Agitation: We'll see about getting you a relationship. But right now, we need to go. Don't we, Ciel?

Ciel: Yes. I see your parents' car coming. Soleil, let's go home.

Soleil: You betcha.

Just like that, Angie and Ciel disappeared.

Monopolized Romance Len: Whoa...

Mr. Rombach: Hey, Martin. We're home.

Mrs. Rombach: Marty? Are you alright?

Monopolized Romance Len: Never felt better in my life...

Agitation: (after returning home) I hope Martin finds that perfect woman.

Ciel: Me too. You really want to help him move on, don't you?

Agitation: Yeah. Because to be honest, I agree with Martin about Diana. She is a psycho.

Kelsey: Hey, kids. Supper's ready.

Agitation: I'm starving!

Ciel: I'll get Stephanie.

And the d'Agliors spent the rest of the day together.

I hope Martin does meet that perfect someone soon. I really want to make more stories with this Len. This one-shot came to mind after reading my friend Tammy's new one-shot called "The Death Of Monopolized Romance Miku". Anyways, I'll see you guys in the next story!
