A small village did not like this new dictatorship government and sets up a new armed militia, a resistance movement against the new government. They called this resistance movement "The Maquis" it was a reference to the French resistance back when the Nazi's took over the French land.
The resistance only had 8 members, they needed to recruit more people and train more people. They were located right off the coast of a french island It was hard to find. The people were scared and they needed an army to defend their island. It would be any second that the enemy would find the island and invade it. News broke out of the French surrender. Anybody that disobeyed the new order would be killed, or tortured to submission.
This new government looks for unwanted minority groups and takes them to camps and dehumanizes them, brainwash them, do terrible experiments to them. This new movement wasn't out everywhere yet, it was just in the little island. They're goal was to expand and recruit
more people from different countries to fight this government.
I am the General of the Maquis. Our Village had 150 people in the "unwanted group" our goal was to protect them all. We trained our little militia with guerilla tactics, underwater operations, weapons training, weapon safety, and etc. We were well funded, our village supported our cause. We knew where the enemy were, but they didn't know where we were.
We rolled out in the crack of dawn. We went to liberate a small part of France and recruit more people, we took them by surprise. We blocked all access in the region no one went in we succeeded the enemy surrendered, with no time to call reinforcements.
Our next mission was to gain intel. We needed an undercover operation, this was a huge risk of getting caught. We didn't want to lose any men, but we had to risk it.
"Gather around everyone," said the sergeant, "we have a good start but we did not win this war, we have several prisoners we must take them by surprise we can't let them know we are fighting them in their own backyard. They don't know us so we need to pull an undercover operation, I need the most fearless, the most calm, the most trustworthy operative here."
A man raised his hand, this man was Private Kay. "I am willing to go undercover." Everyone looked with a surprised face. The private going undercover? This was weird to everyone. But the sergeant trusted him and his ability he saw during his training.
We let Private go on the intel mission. He had a radio on him, and was unarmed so as not to arouse suspicion.
"Private do you copy?" said the sergeant
"loud and clear sarge" "Approaching the target right now" "Delta fox going dark" Said Kay
The private went off to do undercover, they didn't hear from him until 3 weeks. They thought he got caught, he was presumed dead. Until
"Private Kay to Sergeant do you copy" everyone was so excited to hear his voice again. "Yes we hear you, where have you been all this time we thought you got caught."
"No I couldn't talk because everyone was under supervision at the time, during my time here I got a promotion to colonel i'm in my own but they do checks every once in a while so if i go dark that's why." explained Kay. As he said that we heard yelling, it was in a different language we couldn't understand it.
There was a check in with kay once in a while but he came back to HQ 2 months later with so much intel we could cause an ambush and kill their whole operation. We have approximately 1 million men and women, deadly trained, hard to break, can withstand interrogations, and weapons experts. We were outnumbered a little bit but nothing we couldn't take care of.
Our plan was to create a decoy attack then hit them from behind. Our team was agile and quick. We hit them before they realize we're there. The decoys were ready and so was the main team.
"3 2 1 Fire" we heard synchronized shots when we heard the signal "Main team attack" we ran in. We surrounded them, no way out. They all surrendered with minimal casualties. We caught them off guard, at their weakest point. Next target the mainland, the enemy country.
That attack was 4 months ago in these 4 months we gathered more men, we had about 10 million maquis members, the enemy had 5 million. This was an easy win, take out the mainland, take out the enemy. We called this Operation LightSpeed. Take them out quick, bring our soldiers home quick
This took 2 weeks to plan, they knew we were coming but not where we were coming. We came from the beaches, synchronised swimming, act as fish, and strike them from their own land. The fight was gruelling took it took a while but we eventually we got them, we took them out. We won, liberated every camp, and every country occupied.
"Thank you all of my fellow soldiers, people I trained with, people who joined is, people who helped us obtain this victory, people who were liberated and then joined us." said Sergeant Kay.
