Minkyu POV
As I sit in the SM cafe on my phone I feel a hand rest on my shoulder, I lift my head to see my best friend Zhong Chenle.
"Have you eaten yet?" He asks slightly out of breath
"Not yet, I waited for you Le" I respond putting my phone away "how was practice?"
"It was good" he yawns "thanks for waiting"
"No problem. Should we order" I nod
While we wait for our food, we start to catch up. Catching up about him being an idol and my part time job as a waiter during college, plus anything in our personal lives.
Once food arrives we carry on talking about anything and everything on our minds when Chenle gets really passionate talking about something him and his parents did at his place couple days ago. While talking I get immersed in everything he's doing. By his hand movements, his facial expressions and how happy he got. I couldn't help but look at him in complete aw.
"Yah! Minkyu what's with that look" Chenle laughs "you falling for me Kyu"
"What. I'm just listening, carry on idiot" I laugh awkwardly
After some time passes, Chenle ends up having to go back to work. We say our goodbyes and he leaves first. Once I can no longer see him I throw my head back letting out a huge sigh.
Damn it! I'm too obvious, he so knows I like him.. no he would've said something about it seriously. Right?
I kick my legs in the air lightly before getting up and heading to work. During work all I can think about is him.

I sigh as I enter my apartment, flopping onto the bed having a mini crisis to myself about how this crush can't go well and what it might do with our friendship.
