Chapter One: Michael's Point of View

"Hey babe! Are you almost ready? The boys are going to be here any minute." I said walking up the stairs where my beautiful girlfriend was. I knocked on the door. "Babe?" I opened the door where she was checking herself over. "Do I look that bad?" she asked. I couldn't help but stare because she looked beautiful, not that she doesn't look beautiful without all the makeup and stuff like that but she looked extra beautiful.
"No, you look beautiful. I can't wait to show you off." I said, smirking. I heard the door bell ring, "I'll get it." she said as she walked past me. We both walked down to the door and saw that it was Harry and Adreana. Thank gosh, I wanted to talk to them. "Adreana, I missed you so freaking much!" Santana said hugging Adreana. "Hey mate." Harry said giving me a hug. Then he went up to Santana and gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek and a hug at which I got a little jealous but remembered that Santana and Harry were like brothers and sisters.
"Hey Harry, can I talk to you and Adreana in the next room." I asked them. As soon as I did the doorbell rang again. "Go ahead, I will get the door." Santana smiled. That's what I loved about her, she was always happy no matter what. Harry, Adreana, and I walked to the kitchen. "What is it mate?" Harry asked. "Well, you guys know how I love Santana very much and I was wondering if I could have your guys blessing?" I asked. They both looked at each other and they both looked at me and started laughing. "What? Do I look weird or something?" I asked looking down at my suit.
"No. No. It's just that we know that Santana loves you and we know that you love her because if not then you obviously would not be asking us this question. You have my blessing Michael but it's not mine you need." Adreana said and then looked at Harry. "What do you say mate? Can I marry her?" I asked Harry. "Mate, you know you have my blessing. You are the only boy that she's dated that I actually like but mate, if you break her heart, I promise you will regret it." Harry said. All of the boys were very protective of Santana, really all of the girls, but Santana especially because she has been through a lot.
"I promise mate. You won't regret it." I said. Now all I have to do is plan how I am going to ask Santana. We walked back to the living room and the doorbell rang again. "I'll get it." I said and I opened the door. "Hey mate!" Luke said. "Hey mate." I said giving him a hug. "Who's all here?" Luke asked. "Well I know that Harry and Adreana is here but someone came when I went to talk to Harry and Adreana." I said walking toward the living room. "Oh, why did you need to talk to them?" Luke asked. "I will tell you all later." I said finally reaching the living room. "Michael, I missed you before you left." Louis said. Oh great, I shouldn't have left Santana alone with him but I trust her.
The doorbell rang again. "Let me get it." Santana said and put her hand on my shoulder and gave me a peck on the lips. I went and sat down by Louis. I looked up and saw Ashton and it looked like he was crying. "Ashton? What is wrong?" I said and walked closer. "Hey babe, I'm going to take him upstairs and try to find out what is wrong." Santana said. They walked upstairs and that left me, Louis, Adreana, and Harry. Just then the doorbell rang. "I'll be right back." I said as I jumped up and went to go get the door. "Hey mate." Niall said with a cheeky smile. "Hey Niall. Did you miss us." I said as I let him in. "Of course. Whos all here?" Niall asked. "Harry, Adreana, Louis, and Ashton." I said as we walked towards the living room.
"Micahel, babe! Can you come up here?" Santana yelled down the stairs. "Yeah, I'll be right up." I said. I turned to the guest downstairs, "keep yourselfs occupied." and then turned to go upstairs. "What is it babe?" I asked. "Aston don't you have something to ask Michael?" Santana said rubbing Ashton's back. "What is it mate? You know you can ask me anything." I said. "Mate, me and Hanna broke up and she kicked me out. Can I stay here? Just until I get back up on my feet." Ashton said. I really didn't have any hesitation, "of course you can stay here." I said. Santana walked out of the room and downstairs. "Babe, where are you going?" I asked. "I'm going over to Hanna's to see why she broke up with Ashton." Santana said as we walked be the boys. "Santana, please don't." I said. "Michael, she hurt my best friend, he'll brother because we are that close. She's not gonna get away with it." Santana said. "Santana." Aston said. "Yes?" Santana turned around. "Please stay. I just need my best friend." Ashton said with tear filled eyes. Santana ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"Michael, will you show Ashton the spare room? I'm gonna tell our guests that it's getting late and that we will hang out when things get settled in." Santana said. "Of course I will." I told her and grabbed Aston and went upstairs. But as soon as I did the doorbell rang. "I got it." Santana said. All of the boys waited for it to be Zayn but it was Hanna. "What do you want?" Santana asked. "I wanna talk to ashton." Hanna said. "No. You hurt him." Santana said. Hanna tried to walk past her and made it through but hit Ashton instead of apologizing. "You bitch." Santana said and grabbing Hanna by the hair and punching her. It took me, Niall, Harry, and Louis to get Santana off of her. "Get out of my house. I don't wanna see you near ashton ever again." Santana said with me and Harry holding her back.
Hanna left. "Let go of me." Santana said. We let go. "I think it's time for everyone to leave." Santana said. They all left and kissed Santana on the cheek as a friendly gesture. "Ashton, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have blown up like that. It's just when I saw her hit you it made me so mad." Santana said. "It's alright. I just think we all need to go to bed. Tomorrow is a new day." Ashton said and then went and kissed Santana on the cheek and then gave me a brotherly hug. I honestly got so jealous when any of the boys kissed Santana on the cheek, I don't know why. "Thanks Santana for sticking up for me." Ashton said as I lead him to the spare room.
"You really do have a good girl Michael. You better keep her." Ashton said. "Ashton, I have to tell you something and you can't tell Santana because I want it to be a surprise." I said. He nodded his head and I got out the ring. "I want to marry Santana." I said and showed him the ring. "Wow, how are you going to ask her?" Ashton asked. "I don't know, I was kind of hoping you could help me with that part." I said. "Well, I think you should..."
