"Platonically not"

As I stroll around these empty hallways I can't help but smile.

It's blissful to reminisce about the memories written over these walls.

It reminds me the bittersweet memories of our childhood days.

Days when we were still holding back this unknown feeling.

Days when the atmosphere is still cool and not suffocating.

We used to chase each other in here,

Not minding the endless stairs we're going to take.

We used to draw over the newly painted walls,

Not caring about how mad our parents could get.

I wish we could be just as careless as before.

I wish we could bring back the good old days we spent together.

If we stayed inside our own fences,

If only we tried to lock this unknown feeling inside our hearts.

Then maybe we're still together right now,

Staring at the moon and drawing our names on the sky.

Right now this place reminds of a strong connection,

A connection that was cut because of a sudden confession.

If we only tried to resist the forceful pull of gravity,

Then we could've been saved.

Even if we're still hiding a love...

That's platonically not.
