Chapter 7: Let's Hunt Down Love

Shiv's POV

Have you ever wondered how strange we people are? When we find love we spend our time avoiding its existence but when we lose it we suddenly start feeling a kind of emptiness in our life that's not even the weird part the weird part is often that emptiness isn't reason enough for people to go hunt down their love again, it almost always takes an external push, Why? Just.....Why? If you want love just hunt it down.

"Find a new girlfriend because I might kill your current one" Zoe said banging her hands on my table.

"I know she did something stupid but I wasn't a part of it and I swear I tried to stop her" I said raising my hands up like I was at gunpoint.

Zoe gave me a confused expression and sat down.

"I can't believe this finally......finally after so damn long I was happy and I blew it because I couldn't keep my mouth shut in front some crazy chick who wanted to be a hero"

"I am pretty sure she wanted to be a villain"

"Well do tell her congratulations because she is definitely the devil of my life"

"She is a bit weird but she is good at heart"

_Flashback_

It was a rainy Saturday night I had some rock music on and boiling Maggie on the stove, suddenly the door opened and the soundtrack in my radio turned into a romantic one as Rohan and Shanaya walked all soaked in the rain they were giggling and running their fingers through their hair in an attempt to get the water out of them. I cleared my throat to grab their attention.

"Hey, we got caught in the rain so we decided to come back, I hope it's okay" Rohan said.

"Ya of course I will just grab my dinner and be in my room you have the whole house to yourself enjoy" I said walking away but stopped in my tracks "And listen there are clean towels in your room and don't forget to drop her at her apartment on time" I said and walked away. Rohan mouthed me a thank you and Shanaya smiled.

"So what you wanna do?" Rohan asked romantically.

"You decide you are good at this" Shanaya said. I plugged my headphones in so that I don't hear them.

I woke up next morning to a commotion outside, there were people shouting I ran outside to find Rohan being pushed on the floor by a man twice his size.

"Dad" Shanaya screamed but he slapped her across the face pulled her hand and walked away with a few other tall muscular men who came with him.
