I grabbed my phone,
Then turned it on.
I smiled as I stare at our picture.
It’s been 3 years,
Not long enough.
Not enough to forget what I feel.
I’m still into you,
Yet the feeling isn’t mutual.
I heard you’re with somebody new.
I heard so many news about you.
Tomorrow I’ll see you again.
I’ll pretend to look okay.
I’ll crack some jokes,
And make you laugh.
I’ll tease you hard enough.
I’ll take the pain.
To stay with you,
Even just for a day.
