The iron links I carry around my neck weren't too bad until you came along. You began to add more links, more promises. I only adjusted my walk and it didn't seem like much as you carried me along. But suddenly you stopped keeping those promises, you stopped carrying me. Then, unexpectedly, you pushed me off of the edge and I fell, ever so quickly, to the raging waters. And then I realized what all of the broken promises were made for, to drown me.
