Chapter 1

Clarke's POV
"Prisoner 319 against the wall"
No
No
It's not my time, I thought I had 3 months left.
"I'm not 18 yet, it's not my time" I cried out.
They didn't care though, they were just following orders like brainless idiots.
"319 get against the wall" the first Guard said and I could tell I was pushing his buttons.
" I said it's not my time, I'm not 18 yet." I cried out again hoping he would understand .
" Brown exit the cell" the first guard told his comrade.
I slowly see Brown start to exit and the the door was shut behind me and it is just me and the other guard.
I can't tell who he is through his helmet.
" Clarke, your right,it's not your time. All 100 of you guys are going on trial. Your mom sent me to get you to medical so she can tell you what's going on."
He sounds so familiar but I still can't recognize who he is.
" How can I trust you?" I whisper so no one else can hear us.
" It's me, uncle Cruz, from your dads side" he said as he is taking off his helmet.
I run up and hug him.
I could never get over how he looks so much like my dad.
" Okay if we are gonna get you out, we have to go now"
I follow him blindly through the ark corridors. Not remembering where to go since I've been in lock up.
A few minutes later we ended up at the medical center. That's when I knew my mom put him up to this.
"Clarke?" My mom said with a shaky voice.
I could tell she missed me. It's been 9 months since my father was floated. Jaha has kept her from seeing me during my lockup.
"Mom, what's going on?"
My uncle exits the room to let me and my mom talk alone.
"The 100 are being sent to the ground, I had to say goodbye too you." She said as she shed a lone tear.
"Mom, what's going on?" I say almost angrily.
I could see she was hesitant to respond to my angered question.
" They are sending the 100 to make more time for us, the oxygen system is failing, we have 6 months tops." I could hear her voice break as she says those last words.
I stand there in shock, but I also felt it coming.
That means my dad was right. The oxygen system was failing.
"Mom, they said dad was wrong, that their wasn't a flaw in the system." I feel my tears overfill from my eyes and start fall freely.
" Baby I love you and never forget that, their are people on the ground, we keep getting heat signatures but we can't be for sure. Build around camp, take the leadership role. Help them be organized and make rational decisions." My Mom now has tears streaming down her face.
" I love you too." With that I leave the medical center and Cruz finds me to take me back too lock up.

"Clarke wake up"
I hear someone calling my name.
"Uncle Cruz, What time is it?" I ask confused as to why he's here now.
"Your mom is sending you down now, she is in trouble right now and they are gonna take it out on you if you don't leave now."
I get up immediately, sensing the distress and urgency in his voice.
He walks me to sector 12, it's abandoned for the most part. I walk in seeing my mom waiting for me.
She runs up and hugs me.
"Baby I did something that I can't tell you right now but they are coming to get me and you need  to go to earth now or these nexts two weeks is going to be hell for you." Shes crying again as she struggles to let those last few words out.
"I love you baby, always and forever."
I hear her say as I'm suddenly pushed in the spacecraft by my mom.
"I love you mom!" I scream as I see Kane and the guard show up.
I quickly shut the door and look around the pod for something to help me get out of the hanger bay.
I look to see instructions on what too do for each scenario that may happen. I look back to my mom and uncle Cruz, I hear Kane say " we should've floated you awhile ago to my uncle.
That was my final que and I pressed the eject button.

When I woke up I didn't hear the machine hum anymore or feel the fiery heat from ascending down to earth.
I open the pod door  and take my first breath of earth air, the woods with the water create this amazing evergreen smell.
After stepping out of the pod I'm automatically surrounded by people pointing spears and swords at me.
Next thing I know I'm on the ground and soon enough I'm blacked out.
