One year later

Over the last year Nina has gone through ... a change I guess you could say. After the "break up" if you could even call it that, she was a wreck. She hated Connor, Riley, Toby, and Thomas! She hated how they all dropped her like she meant nothing to them, like she wasn't best friends with Riley and Toby, like she wasn't like a sister to Thomas, like her and Connor were never in love, like she was nothing at all.

The McDonough's moved to a different neighborhood after they got back from tour. Nina didn't mind though, she hated them! She didn't talk to anyone for about a month. One day her mom finally got her to talk, she had her daughter back, at least that's what she thought. Nina changed basically everything about herself. She dyed her hair, she started painting her nails black (instead of the pink she used to) and wearing darker makeup and clothes. The break up changed her.

At 15 she got in with the wrong crowd. One night she got drunk and woke up with a tattoo on her shoulder, and of course it was of something Connor used to say to her all the time "I love you to the moon and back". After she got arrested for breaking and entering she decided maybe hanging out with those people wasn't what was best for her, or maybe it was the being grounded for a month, either way she decided it was time to straighten up.

Later that week her mom thought it would be best to get out of Orlando and move somewhere where Nina could take her mind off of all the bad stuff that has happened over the last year. Her and Nina talked it over and decided to move to LA. Nina has always wanted to move to LA, where she could go to dance camp and hopefully become a model.

They started looking for a house right away. Once they found one they were packed in less than 2 weeks. They loaded up the moving truck and started the long cross country journey to their new home.

After 3 days and over 2,000 miles, they had finally arrived. To say they were tired was an understatement, thank God they bought a fully furnished house so they could go straight in and straight to bed, leaving the unloading till they wake up.
