"Diamonds" - Rhianna

I saw the life inside your eyes
So shine bright, tonight you and I
We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky

The moon shone brightly over a large monastery located on top of a mountain. Everyone was asleep, except for a 6-year-old blonde boy. He peered over his older brother's bed and climbed on top.

"Wake up! Wake up!" He whispered loudly while shaking the 8 year old brunette awake. "Ugh, Wu go to sleep" the older brother complained to his younger sibling. "I can't! The sky's awake, so I'm awake! So we have to play!" The blonde boy, Wu protested. "Go play by yourself!" the brunette, Garmadon, teased and shoved Wu off the bed.

Now on the floor, Wu contemplated on ways to get his brother to play with him. His face brightened as he climbed on Garmadon's bed for round two.

"Do you wanna do spinjitzu?" Wu grinned as we lifted his brother's eyelid. To the younger sibling's delight, Garmadon responded with the same mischievous smile and jumped out of bed.

"Come on let's go!" Wu grabbed Garmadon's hand and rushed downstairs while the older brother attempted to hush him. Yes, the brunette was excited to go out into the fresh air, but he didn't want to wake his father up. Even though Garmadon was generally a well-behaved child, he felt guilt towards waking up too early and making noise. His thoughts were interrupted once he was greeted by the crisp, dry air in the monastery's courtyard.

"Do the magic! Do the magic!" Wu begged as he pulled Garmadon closer to him, waiting to see his powers. The older brother playfully rolled his eyes, "It's not magic, it's called elemental power" he responded while swaying his hands in a circular motion. Moments later, a purple and black orb of darkness appeared and he aimed it towards the sky, forming a small elemental dragon that was barely larger than him.

Garmadon looked back on the days where the First Spinjitzu Master began to teach him how to create his dragon. As months passed, he was finally able to master the skill.

Wu stared in awe as his brother's dragon flew around the courtyard and landed next to Garmadon. He knew that elemental powers and magic were different, but he treated them both the same way. Both abilities took many years of training and they both are a wonderful sight to see in action. The older brother smiled, "You are capable of doing the same as well, why don't I teach you."  The younger boy nodded with excitement "Oh please teach me! That looks so cool!"

"Okay so first, you must slowly spin your hands" Garmadon instructed. Wu was patient and he listened to his brother and did as he was told. Soon, a small orb of golden light appeared in between his hands and he gasped "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" The orb shifted into a tiny golden dragon and it fluttered above his hands.

The younger boy was overjoyed

The younger boy was overjoyed. He knew that what he just did takes years of practice and his confidence in himself grew. Garmadon was equally impressed and gently patted Wu's dragon. "See I knew you had it in you" Wu smiled in return, he can finally start training in controlling his powers just like Garmadon.

After relaxing for  a while under the stars with both of their dragons beside them, the boys decided to practice their spinjitzu. Garmadon waved his hand and his dragon disappeared "that's how you make it disappear" he explained. Wu nodded and repeated the movement, causing the small golden dragon to disappear before his eyes "that's so cool" the blonde boy whispered to himself.

The boys got to their positions in the middle of the courtyard. "Would you like to like to go first?" Garmadon asked his younger brother, "Yeah, I'll give it a go" Wu answered. The best part about training, in Wu's opinion, was spinjitzu. It wasn't something that elemental masters can just simply do and it was a very powerful art. Wu then twirled in place until he became immersed inside a bright, golden tornado.

After spinning for a while, the blonde boy wanted to see his brother's spinjitzu so he slowed down and finally came to a stop. Once Wu was in his normal state, Garmadon clapped and cheered  "That was amazing!! You're a natural!"

"Thank you, Garmadon" The younger brother beamed at the compliment he just received.  It felt like a reward from all of the hard work and effort he put into his training.

The older brother got into position and repeated the same process as Wu. Garmadon spun in place until he was immersed inside a dark purple and black tornado of darkness. Along with adrenaline, he felt at ease while surrounded by his elemental colors. Garmadon wondered if his brother felt the same way about his element.

After some time, Garmadon slowed down to a relaxed state and smiled. Wu ran up to his brother and hugged him with joy. "That was amazing!" Garmadon lifted him and twirled the blonde boy in the air with delight. "I'm so glad that you are here, what would I do without you?" "The same goes for you, I don't know what I would be doing without you and father" Wu responded with small tears in his eyes.

The boys embraced for a while, feeling grateful for each other's presence and support until Garmadon came up with another idea for training.

"Let's see how far we've improved in combat."
