PlopNothing felt better than feeling the icy cold drops of rain patter onto his shoulders as he put his umbrella back, knowing he wont use it whether the rain gets harder or not. It hadn't rained for days, but it felt like years to Dream as he walked down the old path. He looked down onto the uneven ground smiling.
He had come here many times. Walking here, wishing for the slightest drip of rain to stop people from going outside. He loved it when it was just him on the wet streets. It gave him a feeling of fulfillment and pride.
Rain was everything. It was the only reason Dream would rush out of bed each morning when he heard something patter on his roof, or hear a slight breeze coming from outside that could pull in the rain filled clouds toward his town. His heart always skipped a beat knowing he could get out of his house and listen to the rain. Walk in it. Feel it. The thought of finding a excuse to even go outside was hard most of the time, but when it rained, nobody was stopping him from feeling the pitter patter on his hair. To be able ot feel something other than, well, nothing.
He sarted to feel the water drip slower, not falling onto his cheeks as often as a second ago.

If the rain stopped, well he was back to his dads place. He loved his parents, but...
We aren't thinking about that.
We are thinking positive.
The rain is still going, which means i can stay.
As long as i stay, i wont die :)
Easy, right?
His hair was dripping water down across his chin and it felt so soothing. His long bangs drooping across his eyes, barley able to see.
Man.
All.of the sudden he looked up from the uneven path way and saw...someone.
A person?
Oh come on now, surely not.
I mean the rain had slowed a bit, but it was still quite ongoing.
He looked down again thinking to himself.
He couldnt quite tell who or what it was, the pouring rain Was blocking his view, But he could tell it was a boy. That was about it.
A boy.
He looked up again. They were both still walking closer to each other. Dream could tell the other figure hadn't noticed him yet. he could tell he had his head down, looking at his shoes.
He had gotten even closer.
He could tell most of his features now. Dark short drown hair, dark almond drown eyes, short and small, but...
He looked again.
This was more than a kid in the street.
This was.
...
So, so much more
~Thoughts raced through his mind.
What?
Why?
How?
Who?
When?
He knew exactly where.
He tried to explain what just occurred to himself, trying to fit pieces together, but also taking in random thoughts that made no sense whatsoever. What just happened?
Dream looked down at his shoes again, as if begging them for aome sort of explanation. He schrunched his face up at them, dissapoinyed in his lack of undertsnading still.
Why did that boy kiss him? and why, why did it feel so safe and so warm, amd why, did he want to go back so damn much?
shut up Dream.
Dont think like that.
what would you do if you javeing a splendid time walking in the rain when a boy walks by you and just...
he couldnt beleive his own mind.
Why the hell did thay cute boy kiss him, a random stranger, on the street?
He was back in the saftey of his bed, a thousand fuzzy blankets wrapping him into a burrito.
It was cold. He was having a crisis.
can you blame him?
He poked his head out of his wrap of cover and squinted out the window into the bright sunlight shining into his room.
the rain had stopped 10 minutes ago, and the sun had been shining blaring in his eyes but it was nice.
The leftover rain on the tips of the trees sparkled and the puddles reflected the warm sunlight onto the dark dray roadside.
