...CIVIL WAR...

warning? torture? not sure.

~ chapter five ~

pain. that's all luna had felt since herself and the others were imprisoned at the raft.

while wanda, scott, clint and sam were locked up in cells, she was in a separate room (a lab) getting tested on. luna had fought against their grips but instantly stopped when someone threatened to hurt her friends if she didn't comply.

at the thought of her loved ones being in pain because of her, she allowed them to pierce needles into her skin. for some reason, metal after metal, she wouldn't heal.

they had done it.

they finally had the technology and knowledge they needed to create weapons and such meant to be used against those like her, and that's what truly scared her.

she was in danger, and these tests were just the beginning.

"is she stable enough to question?" a stern voice spoke harshly, causing the girl to slowly look up.

"i believe so, mister secretary."

"so, you're cap's secret weapon? how long have you two known each other?" ross asked, and he growled once he realized he wasn't going to receive a response. "we're doing this the hard way? alright, pull it up."

another man pressed a couple buttons, and wanda, sam, clint and scott suddenly appeared on different screens.

"answer my questions and we won't have any problems, understood?" ross scowled. "understood?"

"y-yes."

"how long have you and captain america known each other?"

"two years."

"how did you meet?"

silence.

"don't make me ask again."

"he rescued me with black widow and the falcon."

"rescued you from what?" he continued to push.

"i don't know."

"liar!" he raised his voice and grabbed the weapon closest to him. with no hesitation, he inserted the knife into her stomach, making her scream in agony. "what did he rescue you from?"

"a group after people like me!"

he stopped at the new information and snapped at someone to write it down. he once more faced the almost adult and took his hands off the knife, still leaving it in her side.

"what do you mean, 'people like you'?"

"cap made me promise not to tell anyone-"

"-does it look like i care? answer, now."

"i can't-"
