Jessica Grey stood on the ledge where the monsters had their first view of the the sun, lost in thought. The protective barrier shimmered with magic as the sun began to set. It would have been the perfect view, but in the distance was the ruins of a city she in the end couldn't protect. It filled her with immense guilt.
So many lives gone, like that. She felt unworthy as it's leader, what would her husband say in a time like this. What the hell would Noah do now!?
"Jess..?"
Jessica turned around to see her good friend. His golden eyes filled with concern.
"Oh Ronan, my apologies I was thinking," She said giving me a little smile." "Its no problem Jess, actually I've come here to tell you that Dr. Gaster wanted to see you," he said shoving his hands in his pocket and a sheepish grin."
"Alright then I'll go see what he needs" She said heading back in the cave."
