catra x reader

i was chilling on mara's space ship. adora and glimmer were making a mess in the kitchen and i could hear the pots and pans crash from my bed room. bow and entrapta were preparing some way for the chip to be propperly removed from catra's neck.

i was bored, really bored. you know that kind of bored when you need to do something, anything? yeah. catra was hissing at anyone who went near her and i think as someone who used to be her commander at the horde, i was the person who she probably didn't want to see the most out of everyone on the ship.

i heard a really weird growl and then catra yelled for a drink. she was only allowed in her bed, moving around filled her with painful memories from horde prime. 

i decided to see if i could repair things with catra, so i found a drink called vodka, which looked nice enough and poured it into a cup. i got a glass for myself and took the cups in to where catra was staying. she looked mad at me but after she had the first cup she seemed to losen up and was acting weird.

"are you okay?" i asked.

nothing seemed wrong with her, she was just overly confident and i hadn't seen her act like this since she was first promoted to force captain.

"i'm fine, i'm better than fine."

catra kept giggling and snorting, and i couldn't have a proper conversation with this.. mess? i drank some vodka and my head started hurting a bit.

"i need some more drink y/n!"

"sure, maybe it can help stop my headache."

i poured more glasses for the both of us and then catra got out of bed for the first time in ages and started dancing.

"y/n i had a crush on you for a while in the horde."

i pause mid sip and turn to face catra. she looks a mixture of embarrassed and proud for having said that, and you feel like you owe her the truth.

"i had a crush on you too."

"so what do we do now?"

i've noticed catra looking me up and down but i'm not ready to kiss her or anything yet.

"when you were taken, i didn't know what happened. i ran to the rebellion wondering where the hell you were. they said that glimmer had been taken too and they had no idea if you were with her," catra sat down and then snuggled with me, "i told the rebellion that i would help them get glimmer back on the terms that they would help me find you. we struck a deal and we launched off to space. i had no idea what i expected but finding you was amazing."

she doesn't respond for a while, so i decide to spoon her. i brush my hands through her hair and i feel her body relax against my touch. her breathing slows and i wrap my legs around her, providing support. i mess with her hair for a while longer and i notice that she's fallen asleep. i begin to relax as well, having this gorgeous girl in my arms.
