My name is Thea Quinn. I live with my mom in New York. I just finished University, and I got a job offer from Hope's Studios in Seoul. I always dreamt of going to South Korea, but living and working there is something else, but I took the chance and accepted. The company I was gonna work for told me I could start next week, so I had to say goodbye to my friends and family.

"South Korea?" My best friend yelled over the phone.
"Yeah, South Korea." I laughed.

Clara is my best friend. We've known each other since High School, and she has always been there for me. We know almost everything about each other and we're very close.

"South Korea is far away, are you sure?" Clara asked.
"Yes, don't worry about me! I always wanted to go there!" I answered.
"Alright... Just bring back some Got7 merchandise for me when you visit New York!" She laughed
"Will do!" I said and hung up.

~Fast forward 5 days~

I arrived at the airport with my mom, we came a few hours too early, but that's okay, now me and my mother have plenty of time to get some food and hang out before I leave. After a few hours of shopping at the airport I brought two cookies and two cups of iced coffee, and sat down at a table with my mom.

"I'm gonna miss you so much Thea, promise to take care of yourself, I'm not there to clean up if you make a mess." My mom said while taking a sip of her coffee.
"I promise mom!" I laughed.

I looked at my phone and it was about two hours before my flight would arrive. I stood up and told my mother that I had to go soon, or I might get stuck in a huge cue, or so I'm told. My mom nodded understandingly, standing up and giving me a tight squeeze.

"Call me when you get there, okay?" She said looking at me after pulling away from the never ending hug. I'm not gonna lie, I was gonna miss her.

"I will!" I answered and ran towards my flight.

~Fast forward an hour~

As soon as I said goodbye to my mom, something felt really odd, maybe I was just very excited to go to South Korea? As soon as the gates opened, I got a bad feeling that I wish I had thought about a week ago. This is my first time going on an airplane alone, and I'm gonna be on it for almost 15 hours. I started feeling a cold chill down my spine, the sweat I felt building up was slid down my back. I felt a goosebump kiss towards my skin as we were allowed onto the plane. I really hope we don't crash.
