Naruto then ran at Zabuza but Kakashi stopped him,

"Stop. Get back, you're in the way."

"What?" Kakashi reached for his headband, my eyes widened,

"No Ot- Kakashi sensei!" I quickly corrected,

"If I'm going to be fighting him. I'm gonna need this." Zabuza laughed,

"Kakashi Hatake of the sharingan eye. I should be flattered. It's too bad though, your gonna have to hand over the old man." Zabuza's voice sent chills down my spine,

"That's not going to happen!" I shouted at him, thankful that my voice didn't crack. Zabuza's eyes shot to me,

"Ah! Ayame Hatake." His voice sounded curious, "What would you be doing on a fine day like this?" I growled,

"About to beat your ass into the ground!" I spat,

"Ayame!" Kakashi warned, I growled but said nothing else. Zabuza laughed, "Everyone! Manji formation immediately!" I nodded and ran straight to Tazuna, putting away my swords and replacing them with kunai, "Under no circumstances are you to join this fight!" I swallowed, Kakashi then pulled up his headband. I bit my lip, this wasn't going to end well. Kakashi glared at Zabuza, "I'm ready."

"Oto-san! You can't use the sharingan!" I couldn't help it; the words came out of my mouth before I could stop them,

"Sharingan sharingan! Everyone keeps saying that! What does it mean?" Naruto asked,

"Sharingan. A rare power that resides in the eyes, the wielder can see through genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu and copy it to the slightest detail." Sasuke informed,

"You got that right boy." I swallowed, just as that was said, mist started to stir up. I looked around, what is this! This is like one of my jutsu's! I growled and tried to see through to mist, this was way more powerful than mine. I narrowed my eyes when I heard the shaking of metal; it was coming from Sasuke's position. I looked at him just in time to turn the kunai towards himself,

"Sasuke, calm down," I looked over at Kakashi, "I won't let anything happen to you. All of you." Sasuke grunted but didn't object. I coughed when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach; I looked down to see blood seeping out of my jacket,

"Wha-" I couldn't finish the sentence, I coughed up blood. I looked up and everything seemed blurry, Sasuke suddenly appeared in front of me with a extreamly worried look on his face,

"Ayame!" I heard Kakashi call, I coughed again, more blood. I knew that Zabuza had stabbed me in the stomach,

"The gut," I heard him coo, "The very pleasure of seeing your opponent suffer along with their comrades brings a smile to my face." I scowled,

"You sick-" I stopped talking when sudden warmth came over me, making me numb, "Crap..." I whispered as I fell into the darkness.

Murmuring, stupid voices, let me rest!

"She should be waking up soon. She lost a lot of blood but she should be ok." That was a female voice,

"Are you sure?" That sounded like Sasuke's voice,

"Hai." I groaned,

"Ayame!" I heard Sasuke's voice exclaim, I smiled,

"Ohayo *good morning* Sasuke." I winced when I felt my stomach protest with me talking, I realised I didn't have my mask on but I didn't really take any notice,

"Shhhh..." He soothed, "Don't hurt yourself." I smiled wearily and he smile back,

"Don't worry about me. How's everyone else?" Sasuke sighed,

"Naruto's alright, just a little angry." I furrowed my eyebrows,

"Why?" Sasuke shrugged,

"A tracker took Zabuza, that made the baka a little mad." I laughed but soon regretted it, I looked to the side and saw a lady with long raven hair smiling at us, I smiled back,

"Hi. I'm Ayame." She waved,

"I'm Tsunami, how are you feeling?"

"I feel great!" I lied, Sasuke rolled his eyes,

"She's lying." I pouted,

"And how do you know?" He smirked,

"I can tell when you're lying." I sighed and Tsunami just laughed,

"Young love is so funny." I opened my mouth to protest but she was already out of the room, I sighed and looked back at Sasuke who was looking at me with an unreadable expression. I smiled,

"Whatcha thinkin' about?" He took in a deep breath,

"I'll show you." I was about to ask him when he meant but he bent down and our lips connected, my eyes widened and my mind went blank, before I knew it, I was kissing back. He lent away, I noticed that he was smiling. I realised then that my face must have been as red as a tomato. I turned away, trying to hide my blush, he chuckled,

"Ayame, look at me for a second." I sheepishly turned towards him,

"Hai Sasuke-kun?" He took in a deep breath,

"W-Will you go out with me?"
