An Egg?

Y/N's POV
I wake up with pain striking through my body. "Argh! What happened?" I ask myself. I get up and look around the room that I was in. I was in a rusty bed, the wall paper on the walls had mold and were peeling off them, and the floor didn't look so good either. "I've seen that you woken up." Loki said, I turn my head to the right and see him sitting on a chair that wasn't in good shape like everything else. "Okay... but why were you waiting for me to get up? Why did you leave the note? Why did attack me when I entered the building?" I asked before he could say anything else. I had so many questions. "Slow down. You mortals are noisy." "You fictional characters are oblivious." I said mockingly; Loki got up and pointed the tip of his scepter at me. "Watch your tongue mortal." Loki snared, I just sighed and laid back down. I'm in a weak state and the chances of me winning would be between one and zero.

"Could you at least answer one question at least. Please?" I asked in a soft tone. Loki scoffed and ignored me, he then left the room with me in this dump. I went back to sleep and wondered why Loki did what he did. But what the hell? A few hours later I get up and try to get out of bed; key word: tried. And now! My back now decided to be in pain. I cry out in pain, my back felt like it was shattered, and worst of all is that I don't have my pack or Azul with me. Is this what anime characters feel like after a battle? Loki walked in with a disappointed face "You should be resting." I looked at him with a surprised look "I didn't know you could care." I said before relaxing myself back onto the mattress. He glares at me. "Oh, I get it now. Is it because I have some power that you want but it won't leave my body so you have to keep me alive or some bs like that?" I said unamused, I'm in pain and the mattress isn't comfortable. "No. All though that power you mentioned is extraordinary. Though after you healed you'll need training if you ever want to use it." Loki was about to leave the room when I said something "Wait." Loki turned his head to look at me "I'm sorry for the way I'm acting. I'm not used to things happening so quickly. I never had any excitement in my life until now. I just wanna say... Thank you Loki." I said with a warm hearted smile. There was a long pause for a minute before I heard the words I'd never thought Loki would say "You're welcome." And then he left the room. I couldn't help but smile to myself like an idiot. I'm starting to like the decision I made about coming here.

Loki's POV
I exited the girl's room and make my way towards her backpack that she left at the entrance of this building before our battle. She wasn't wrong about the thousand dollars, but it was the egg that made my curious. How did she come here? Why was she bonded with a guiding bird? And why was she given this egg? I guess that we both have questions that want to be answered. There is something about that girl that intrigues me. Her power is something that might be beyond this world, and whatever it is... I plan on finding out. Azul lands on my shoulder and looks into her pack before looking at me "I'm not going to take anything. I'm just looking." Great. Now I'm talking to a bird. I close the pack and take it back it to the girl when I hear her crying out in pain again "This girl is going to be the death of me." I say to myself before making my way to her room. I open the door and see her sitting up an holding a sphere of white flames "You really should be resting." I said startling her. "Oh, sorry. I wanted to try my new power." The girl said before the flames dispersed.

I put down her pack and take out the egg. "Care to explain why you have an egg with you?" I asked as I inspected it closely "I don't know. But it was given to me." She said, which left me puzzled. I don't know why an egg would be given to a child, especially a mortal. "Maybe we can make it hatch. If we can use my flames then it will hatch in only a matter of time." The girl starts to get excited and tries to start the flames again. "You need rest. You're a mortal." The girl chuckled "What is so funny?" "Hahahaha! You sound like those father figures in the movies and tv shows. Hahaha!" I scoffed and shoved her down. "Ow! Hey, learn to be a little nicer." I placed her pack on the chair next to her bed and left. Azul pecked at my face "Ow! Don't do that." Azul moves his head towards the girl's room "No." I continued on my way; he pecked me again. "What?!" Azul takes off and lands on the chandelier and now motions for me to follow him. "What now?" Azul again motions me to follow him.

Y/N's POV
I reached over for the egg and picked it up. "How am I supposed to hatch you?" I asked myself as I held onto the egg and inspected it. "Oh, what's the point? I don't know what will come out." I sigh and hug the egg gently as I fall to sleep on this uncomfortable thing called a mattress. It was about five hours and it was starting to get a little hotter than the usual room temperature; and it was strange because it felt like my chest was heating up. I slowly open my eyes and see the white flames consuming the egg, I didn't move so I didn't disrupt what was happening. Soon after the flames consumed the egg it's shell changed colors to a brown with a chocolate nutmeg color on the top of the egg "Hold on. Why does it look like an eevee egg?" I asked out loud, if it is... oh my god! I hug the egg a little tighter and keep it warm, it it turns out to be an eevee, I will name after a great Disney movie with the world's cutest baby. But I can't have my hopes up too high.

A few more hours pass and my back seemed enough for me to get up. I get up and pick up my jacket to wrap around the egg to keep it warm. "Now where are my shoes?" I ask as I search the room for my shoes, if Loki took my shoes I swear I'll beat him when he gets back. Those shoes cost $70.00! I had to steal my siblings money just so I could actually no longer have hand-me-downs or given what my siblings throw out! I leave the room and search the building just for my shoes and after searching for 20 minutes they were at the fucking front door. "It's just like back at home." I said picking them up and carrying them back to my room. I pass the chandelier on the floor and look at it, if only this room looked a little bit better and had a nice touch to it. I come back to my "room" and see the egg starting to shake. It's happening! And so fast, usually it takes a episode or two for eggs that don't belong in a another world. Okay... just relax, and just hope it's cute.

Loki's POV
After going on errands for that stupid bird with the money I stole from a couple of banks, I enter the building and the whole place looks like we were rich. And her shoes weren't near the door like they were supposed to be. She must've left, and this bird only distracted me. I placed the groceries down and head to the room she was staying in, I walk through the hallways and see that they are still the same. "I guess it's just that room alone." I then open the girls door and see her kneeling beside her bed looking at a shaking egg. "What do you think you're doing?" I ask, startling her "I didn't do anything except letting my powers consume the egg and then it turned into this. I then went to find my shoes and when I got back with them the egg started to shake." She says in panicked tone. What has she done?
