“Mom, tell me again why we had to move here.”
I really didn’t want to move away from my old home. I had friends and even a boyfriend. Well not really my boyfriend. But I did plan on asking him to my junior prom but I never got to be there for my junior year. See we just moved here in July. We waited until summer so I wouldn’t miss any school.
“Cassie, I told you I can’t tell you. Now I and your father would appreciate you to start unpacking and get your room in order with how you want to keep it.”
“Ok mom.”
When I walked into my new room everything was already set up exactly how I wanted it. I wonder who set this up. I thought to myself.
“All your stuff is out of the truck.”
I turned around to see a mover. Not much older than myself. He had black hair and brown eyes. He had muscles to.
“Oh, ugh thanks.”
I tried not to stare at him but he was so cute.
“Do you need any help moving around the furniture?”
He had asked me. But I was too busy looking at his muscles to realize.
“Cassie?”
He was staring at me now looking worried.
“Oh sorry. No I actually like it like this. Thanks though. Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
“Umm well how did you know my name?”
“When we got a call to help a family move, I was told about the Facette family. It Said Cassie, Angel, and Roger Facette needed help moving in. I figured you were Cassie and by how surprised you were, I'm guessing I'm right.”
Well that makes sense I thought to myself.
“Oh. Ok.”
“Do you want to come to a party later? You can meet some of our class mates. I'm Kris by the way.”
I couldn't believe he asked me to his party. I didn’t know if I could or not so I just said
“Well if you give your number ill text you. I’ll have to see if I can go.”
We exchanged numbers and he left. I unpacked a little and then helped make diner with my mom.
“Hey mom can I go to a party tonight?”
“I knew you were ganna ask me. I was waiting.”
“How’d you know?”
“Kris told me he was going to invite earlier before he asked you.”
I thought to myself over and over how come he didn’t tell me then?
I went upstairs and got ready. I picked out a black and pink shirt with a black mini skirt and a pair of candies heels. I kept my caramel brown hair hanging down to my waist. I didn’t straighten it because I loved my wavy hair. I used a black colored eye loner on under and on top of my eyes. They made my bright green eyes pop. I texted Kris saying
“Hey I'm leaving my house now.”
“Ok do you want me to come and pick you up? There are creepy people out at night.”
