19. Contact

I start walking to my room.

"Where are you going?" She asks.

"To take a shower." I say, going up the stairs.

She smiles, "Alright, just come to the kitchen when you're done. I want to hear everything about today."

I nod and walk to my room.

Everything is a lot. It's too much. I'll tell her bits and pieces, but not everything.

I drop my stuff off in my room, and jump in the shower.

Bruises.. what was I expecting?

I take a quick shower and put on my pajamas.

If I pretend to be asleep, will I still have to tell her everything? I feel bad doing this, but I'm trying it.

I climb into bed and pretend to be asleep. It's been a long day, so she might believe it.

I hear her come in, "Koushi, are you asleep?"

She waits. I don't answer.

"Alright, goodnight." She whispers as she closes the door.

She bought it.

I look at my phone. Monday, April 15, 8:20 pm. It's kind of early to be going to sleep.

I look through my contacts, I kind of wish I asked Daichi and Asahi for their phone numbers-

I pause when I see a certain name in my contacts.. Sawamura Daichi.

How- When? What?

I press on the contact name to get more information, there's a phone number attached. Did he do that? When would he have done it though?

Before lunch ended, that was the only time I didn't have my bag with me. Therefore, the only time he could've done it.

Smooth.

Should I text him? What if he's sleeping?.. What am I thinking? It's not even 8:30.
