"lunch? with you and who..?"

"nanami! he's kind of like my sensei" itadori says giddily on the other end of the phone

"well alright, what time?"

"12:30pm"

"ok see you then" i press the red button on my phone screen then tuck it into my pocket 'itadori does seem to like this nanami person' i open my wardrobe to get changed into some casual clothes (wear whatev u want)

after exiting the dorm building i spotted a small white haired boy seated under a tree sleeping 'inumaki senpai?' checking the time i hum and walk over to toge. "senpai?" after kneeling down i shake his shoulder gently and he wakes up "kelp?" he rubs his eyes and sits up slightly with a confused look "ah, it's meant to rain later so i thought i'd wake you up.." he stays silent and just stares at me "is something wrong?" i brush a strand of hair behind my ear, he continues to stare silently at me with slightly widened eyes.

furrowing my eyebrows i wave a hand in front of his face which seems to bring him back to reality "tuna mayo" he mumbles "senpai...i've been wondering if i could see the bottom half of your face?" he nods and unzips (😏) part of his uniform 'tattoos?' he comes closer to me and opens his mouth to show me a tattoo on his tongue "that's kinda cool...is that your cursed speech thing maki mentioned?" again he nods then begins to open his mouth again "stay still" i feel my body stiffen and freeze up 'this must be how it wo-' my thoughts are cut short as toge suddenly came closer to my face and begun to touch it, my cheeks now turning a light red as his breath tickles my lips

"toge!" he turns his head to see maki staring at us both with a weird face "toge, don't use your cursed speech on y/n!" she scolds, storming over to grab toge then drags him away, i gasp and fall forward "that..w-was weird.." i hold my right cheek that was fairly warm "what time is it?!" i check my phone and stand up in a panic "i'm going to be late!" i run down the steps and quickly jog into the city to find the restaurant itadori told me about.

i slump against the wall to slow my heavy breathing "fi..nally..." i slowly walk into the restaurant and look around, smiling once i saw a head of pink hair "itadori!" i jog over to the table he was at and took a seat "y/n, you're late" he pouts "sorry, sorry" i shake my hands in front of me while apologising "is this the girl you were talking about." a stern deeper voice interrupts us "yes, y/n this is nanami and nanami this is y/n!" itadori says with a big smile "ah..it's nice to meet you" i bow my head lightly and try to avoid his glare.

eventually we all ordered something and were now sat in silence, waiting for our food 'this nanami guy gives off such a serious vibe..i don't know how to start a conversation' beads of sweat fall down my forehead as i panic "y/n" i look up at itadori who was staring back at me with a gentle smile and places his hand on mine "y-your hand..." i whisper so nanami couldn't hear "it's fine, right?" with my cheeks slightly red i nod timidly

"ah! y/n are you excited for the exchange event?" itadori starts a new conversation "well...i think so, just a bit nervous" i mumble the last part "from what i saw the other day, i think you will do a decent job in the event" nanami joins in with a serious tone "t-thank you" i avoid his strict gaze.

"sorry for the wait, here's your order" a waitress comes over with a fake smile and places a plate in front of nanami and itadori but not me "excuse me.." i hold my hand up to gain her attention "yes?" she seems to glare at me for a moment but i ignore it "i ordered f/f will that be here soon.?" "unfortunately we were unable to make the dish, is there anything else you would like?" i'm taken aback by her tone that sounded venomous "oh..i'll just have a f/d then, thank you" i force a smile but drop it as soon as she leaves.
