I run to my house, I closed the door ans I let myself fall to the floor, I rested my back against the door and let tears roll down my cheeks, what is going to do the king with Leah? Will he hurt her? "Martinus? What happened?" Mother asked coming closer "the king, he found out, he saw us, I run away but Leah stayed there" I said "omg, what happened?" Marcus said appearing at the end of the hallway and I told them everything "Martinus?" Emma said coming, she probably woke up with the noise, she hugged me tight and I hugged her back "everything is going be fine" Marcus said.

*Leah pov*

"Get on the horse" father said angry "no" i said "Leah get on the horse now" he said "no" i said again, he took me by my arm and forced me to get on the horse and he started riding back, Francis was behind us "father i..." I started saying but he cutted me "we'll talk about this when we arrive to the palace" he said and we kept quiet, it was so awkward and I was really scared, what was going to happen when we arrived to the palace?

When we arrive to the palace and we crossed the door my father pushed me against the wall and took my arms so I couldn't move "ARE YOU STUPID OR WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" He yelled angry "I....I..." I stuttered "HOW CAN YOU DATE A PEASANT, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT'S NOT RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO MARRY A PRINCE NOT A STUPID AND USELESS PEASANT" he yelled "I want to marry someone I love, not some random prince" I said "DON'T YOU DARE TO TALK BACK" he yelled "but..." I started saying "SHUT UP AND FUCKING STOP CRYING" he yelled at the top of his voice and I noticed how tears run down my face "Francis, take her to the dungeons and lock her in the furthest, darkest and wettest cell, she will stay there till she understands that she has to do her job as a princess and marry a prince so she can be a proper queen, I will look for some prince that would like to marry you" he said "no father no" I said "be glad that I'll let you choose the prince you would marry" he said.

Francis dragged me to the dungeons, we walked for a while there, none of us said a word "i'm sorry, I don't want to do this" he said pushing me in a cell and locking the door "then why are you doing it?" I said crying "I have no other option my lady" he said "you told him about Martinus and I, didn't you?" I asked "no, I promise it wasn't me" he said "who then? I know that Mar didn't tell it, she would never or did she?" I said about to break down "no, it wasn't her, it was the gossip woman of the village, I saw her walking to the palace, I thought she was just going for a walk but it seems like she saw you two and told it to the king" he said and I stayed silent I rested my back on the wall and let myself fall to the floor "do you need anything my lady?" He asked "just leave me alone" I said "as you wish my lady" he said and left

*in the morning*

"My lady, my lady, woke up, it's already morning" Mar said as she shook me, I was hoping that what happened was just a nightmare but then I opened my eyes and saw that I was in that horrible cell in the dungeons "I bring you some clothes" she said "thanks" I said sad "are you okay?" She asked "how I'm going to be okay?" I said "I'm sorry my lady, I made such and stupid question" she said "it's okay" I said "i'll bring you breakfast" she said "bring me a feather, ink and paper please" I said "why you need that?" She asked "just bring it and make sure that nobody knows" I said "as you wish my lady" she said and left.

When she came back she gave me the paper, the feather and the ink and I started writing, I have, somehow, to tell Martinus everything that is going on "Mar, you are going to the village to buy some things, right?" I asked "yes, why?" She asked "give this to Martinus, please" I said folding the paper and gave it to her "I will my lady" she said and left.

*Mar POV*

"Mar, do you think that i took the right decision?" The king asked as he saw me "what do you mean?" I asked "you are my daughter's best friend, you know her better than I do, do you think that I did the right thing when I locked her down there?" He asked "I don't know my lord, you are her father, you know what it's better for her" I said although I lied, it was a horrible idea to lock her and force her to marry any random guy just because she is a princess and she can't be with a peasant.

I walked to the village's market and bought everything I needed, then I walked around the village looking for Martinus and after half an hour I finally found him, he was with his brother "Martinus!" I said and they turned around "Mar! Is Leah okay?" He asked worried "she told me to give you this" I said giving him the paper "thanks, but is she alright?" He said "not very good, her father locked her in the dungeons" I said "what!?" Martinus and his brother said at the same time "I have to go, or the king will start thinking that something is going on" I said "at midnight, where I used to meet Leah, go there and I'll give you another a paper for her, I'll read this as soon as I arrive home" he said "okay" I said
