Jungkook is the prince of Seoul. He is an alpha. He was arranged to be married to omega prince Jimin of Busan to get his rightful position as king. Jungkook was not interested in marriage, especially to an omega. 

You see in his kingdom, omegas were considered precious and they were well taken care of and pampered. So Jungkook found them annoying and spoiled, omegas who didn't even lift a finger saying they are weak and except the alphas to help them. Alphas in his kingdom was considered to know and do it all, especially him, as he was going to be the king.

Jungkook was blown away when he met Jimin for the first time. Jimin was unlike any omegas of his kingdom, the omega was elegant, poised, well mannered and kind. Beautiful was a word used loosely when it came to describing the omega - Jimin was ethereal, angelic and mesmerizing. Unfortunately that's not what Jungkook was looking for in a partner, he wanted to marry an alpha who was on the same level with him and not a weak spoiled omega. But to his surprise he soon learnt that Jimin was not like what he thought an omega prince would be like. 

Jungkook thought Jimin, since he was of royal blood, would be the most arrogant and spoiled omega of the lot but it turns out he was completely wrong about the omega. The omega was in no way dumb as he expected - Jimin was smart, smarter than him in fact, kind and understanding, had empathy towards his subjects and was confident in who he was.

Jimin would help Jungkook with anything the alpha needed for the kingdom and the alpha, to be honest never expected to feel more relieved in his role as a king with Jimin by his side. Jimin was good at everything he did, Jungkook was even surprised to find that Jimin took care of all their household affairs beautifully and brilliantly. The number of servants waiting on Jungkook day in and out were sent off to other kingdom affairs whilst Jimin made sure to take care of his home himself. Jungkook was impressed. 

And to make things short, the alpha soon fell for his omega and the first heat that hit Jimin, Jungkook made sure to mark the omega as his. And soon enough Jimin got pregnant.

Ever since the pregnancy, Jimin chose to stay at home rather than help Jungkook in his official chambers. Jimin was physically unable to do so. And after the baby was born, Jimin had to stay with the kid and handle household affairs, whilst Jungkook spent long works at his palace. 

Jimin missed the alpha daily. Jungkook sometimes never came home.

Jungkook comes home tired one night and Jimin immediately hugs him and begs him to spend time with him and their son. Jungkook was pissed. 

"You just sit home all day! Do you know how much things I have to handle in the palace?! I don't have the time Jimin!"

Jimin was upset as well "...it was not my choice to stay home. I want to be with you ruling beside you but our son needs atleast one of us... just because I am an omega doesn't mean I have to solely take responsibility of the house, you have equal responsibility towards maintaining our family. What's the point of you managing your entire kingdom and have a broken family?" Jimin's voice breaks before walking away, hurt

Jungkook's eyes widen. He never thought about Jimin's side, he always thought about himself . The alpha is suddenly hit by a wave of guilt. He can actually assign his counselors to take care of most of the work. He needn't be the one to manage everything at the palace. The alpha goes to Jimin and back hugs him 

"I love you. I'm sorry I became selfish and took you for granted... please forgive me" Jungkook rests his head on Jimin’s shoulder 

Jimin turns around "I missed you so much" he whispers  

"I missed you too" Jungkook says kissing the smaller 

Just then Jihyun cries and Jimin goes to him

Few minutes later Jungkook walks in to the nursery 

"I have already given the counselors their rightful position back. From today I will not go to the court. My people are skilled and experienced enough to take care of usual matters in the kingdom... I want to spend time with my lovely husband and my child" Jungkook declares making Jimin's eyes water 

"I love you Jimin. . My omega…. My prince" Jungkook says hugging Jimin from behind,  cupping the omega's hands that held Jihyun in his arms 

"I love you too ...my alpha...my king"
