I didn't mean to leave Corpse alone that long. Toast asked me to help edit a video, how could I say no? I couldn't help that it took nine hours. I just couldn't do it.
But nine hours had passed and Corpse thought I had left him. I should've sent a text. I should have called. I should have woken him up before I left this morning.
"Corpse, babe, I'm here now. You don't have to worry. I didn't leave, I never would. I don't want to and I've never even considered it. Okay?"
"...Okay."
"Good. I love you."
"I love you too.."
"Come on, I'll make hot chocolate and we can watch movies, okay?"
"Can I pick the movie..?"
"Of course."
"Okay."
And with that I went to go make the hot chocolate. I heard Corpse debaying on what movie to put on, and I chuckled lightly as I heated up the milk and got the hot chocolate packets down from the cabinet. By the time I finished making the hot chocolate, Corpse had picked a movie and was waiting for me. I handed him his cup and we curled up on the couch, playing the movie. Corpse passed out 30 minutes into the movie and I smiled to myself. I kissed his forehead and got a blanket, wrapping the two of us up in it like a lil' burrito and soon enough I fell asleep as well. I woke up to forehead kisses and Corpse smiling down at me.
