He's No Longer Into Me?

After eating we went back to our office and as expected Rommel is already sitting beside Lee, he is now helping him. I should have not done that, now I'm ruined. What if my dreams might come true, that Rommel will leave Lee, that he will make Lee cry?

I can't focus on working, my mind is pre-occupied.

"SHIT," I shouted. Everyone stared at me. I walked out and went to the smoking area to smoke, Giner was calling me but I did not answer it. I am not in the mood to talk to anyone.

I was about to light another cigarette when someone snatched it in my hand. And, I did not expect that he will be here.

After eating we went back to our station, we are all busy when Ali shouted, he runs out of the office.

"Lee can you check on him for me, please," Coach Giner said.

"Why me?" I asked.

Coach was about to answer when Athena pushed me.

"Just go, talk to him," She said.

I saw him went to the smoking area, I followed him. I was standing beside him, he was about to light another cigarette when I snatched it out from his hands.

"One cigarette is enough for you," I said and puff the cigarette.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Nothing," He said.

He was about to walk when I grabbed hands.

"Ali, you know what? I LIKE YOU, no, I LOVE YOU," I said.

I let his hands go. I thought he will walk and leave me but he stayed and listened.

" The first time I saw you, I already fell in love, I know it sounds stupid but I just did, I don't know why, but I just fell" I explained.

"Why me?" He asked.

" If you love someone, there should not be an explanation for that, but just to clear everything, I love you because you are the first guy who made my heart flutter, made me happy just by staring at you, you are the source and reason for my happiness," I said.

" But I can't repay your love, "He answered

" I know, that is why I am saying everything for you, I don't want to end this year with a heavy heart, I am saying this just to make myself free and happy," I said.

He walked out and leave me standing.

I wiped the water on my eyes and smiled. Now I'm free.

I went back to our office and sat on my chair, I remained quiet, I think everyone noticed it, no one dared to interrupt me, we waited until we went home.

That was the first conversation we had and I ruined it. He confessed his love but I declined it.

Now I am left alone, I don't know what to do or what to feel.

After duty, I texted Giner and asked her if she can join me to have a drink tonight.

She told me that she will be having a party with her team.

"You can join us if you want to," She replied.

Should I come with them? But Lee will be there, I don't have the guts to face him. I hurt him.

"Come, Lee is inviting you," She replied.

"Okay, I'll see you guys, then," I replied.

I think I need to fix everything, I need to face him I need to talk to him and let him know what's inside my mind and heart. Now I am ready to accept him, ready to accept myself, Giner is right, I will never know unless I'll try it.

I'll face reality, Lee changed me, my perspective in life and my mindset.

We met not long time ago but he had allowed me to accept myself, he brought light to me and my life.

He was like a star that shines brightly that lead me to the right path.

Indeed a saviour of my day and night.

His smiles brought me happiness, his sadness brought me tears and his actions brought me, love. A love that I never thought that I'll see from someone who I just met unexpectedly. Now I can say that I am happy and proud of what I am. If Lee saved me, I'll save him as well.
