My name is izuku midoriya. I'm a hero in training and the successor of the number 1 hero all might.

And this is a story about how I became the number 1 hero like my master.but something happened that changed my life forever.

Me and my class was having a fight with the league of villains and we where winning till shigaraki ordered a nomo to kill me . That's when a portal appeared under me and swallowed me up as my friend's cried my name.

Before I know it i was in the air over what looked like a red and blue battleship but my thoughts where cut short as I dropped head first on the deck and black out.

Kamina pov

It's been 3 day since simon died 3 days of sadness and tiers and it my fault.

Me and Simon where trying to take over one of beastmens dai-guzan so we can bet them.but there was something wrong Simon was distracted by something and couldn't take over dai-guzan.

So I snapped him out of it and we take control of dai-guzan and as I was getting In my gunman but the beastman general attacked and I has hurt. But as thymilph was about to deal the finishing blow but Simon took the blow for me.

But he said he's fine so we transformed in gurren lagann and deal a giga drill break but after that Simon was silent and when we opened up lagann he was just slumped in his seat like he was sleeping But there was a pool of blood at the bottom of lagann.... He died , he died saving my sorry ass because I wasn't paying attention it was all my fault.

After that we had to bury him and move on like it didn't happen like Simon wasn't dead and it felt like I was the only one to care about it. I try to fight beastmen to let out some anger but it didn't work i just felt empty. at one point yoko try to pilot lagann but it didn't respond at all it just stopped.

They ended up wanting to throw it. But i stopped them from touching it and kept it in my room with the rest of simon's stuff.boota was Also affected he was simon's pet molepig and was his friend ever since we tryed to get out of our village before we got to the surface he just stuck with simon. He just walked around the ship trying to find him and the only time you see his it at dinner were he grabs some food and scurry off again.

I was on the deck of the ship when it. happened a person fell from the sky and landed straight on his head so I take him to leeron to check if heads ok. And I try to go to sleep but something kept me awake. It was a loud pulsing sounds like a heart beat and it was lagann glowing like when simon first found it.

It must mean Simon is alive it must be that's the only reason I could think of .so I got looking for him but he was nowhere to be found so I give up and go to bed with yoko because lagann was still calling for simon.

The next morning I go check on the guy from the sky and see his awake and talking to leeron.

Leeron:"so you can't remember a thing not even your name" he said with a hint of concern.

???:"y-ye-ea-ah-h I can't re-me-mber who I am or w-here I am" he said sounding really nervous and stuttering ... just like simon.

But that just a coincidence right... but then I see boota come in the room with the pulsing core drill in his mouth and He jumps on the guys head and drops it in his lap.the guy stopped talking to leeron and pick it up and just looked at it with wonder in his eyes like when simon first seen it.

Then boota jumped off his head and started to lead him to lagann. I was in shock, why would boota do this. he only does that for simon and why lead this random kid to simon's gunman it doesn't even work.

So I snap out of my thoughts and run after them and when I get there i see him siting in lagann about to put the key in
While it pulsed louder.he just puts it in like he's done it before and it's starts.

But what really got me was that boota put simon's goggle on him and then the guy turns to me for a second i see him, I see...

"Simon"

(So I this is the first chapter of tengen toppa gurren deku.so a quick thing to clear up is the izuku is not simon but he thinks he is because everyone thinks he is because he has his spiral power after he got transported there because he has no spiral power and was a vacuum so he sucked up the spiral power around him which was simon's)
