The Owl and The Fox

     There was once an owl and a fox that lived in the forest. They were both proud and they thought that they were the smartest among the other animals.

      One day they saw each other and they started to argue on who is the smartest. They argued for hours. They came up into an idea to test who is really the smartest among them. They decided to have a race. So they ran but because the fox was faster the owl lost. The fox was so proud and called the owl as a loser. The owl said, "If you are really smart, let's race on flying." Although the fox knew that he couldn't fly he agreed to it. The fox lost and the owl laughed. As they continued to race the more they hated each other.The fox tried to trick the owl. He planned to eat him but every time he was about to swallow him the owl could feel his presence so he flew. In raged the fox said, "Whoever could hunt a mice, he will be the smartest." The owl agreed. That night they went hunting. The owl caught a mice and the fox did it to. They went to their meeting place and both holding their mice.

       They look at each other and they laughed. The fox then said to the owl, "Well, we should accept that we are both smart, we should be friends." The owl was so happy that they finally became friends. He believed that the fox was nice and friendly.

        But suddenly the fox tried to snap him. Luckliy the owl saw and heard him so he flew. Since then the owl thought that he was still the smartest. They never came across again.
