My Lover

Chapter 1

(Ashlynn)
I wake up do my alarm clock, realizing what day it is I get up pretty quick, it's first day of school. And it's no normal middle school, dragging your feet until you finally get to your spot, or having to hide from those who threaten to hurt you or your family.

It's my last year of high school, knowing that I'm older then the rest of the grades I can finally believe this year could be good, but unfortunately life has other plans. I am not popular like Jenessa or Gracie. I am more of a semi-popular, but I still get bullied. I want this year to count as much as possible. Even if that means I'll get looks from the popular, it's normal. Nothing around the school is new.

I have no friends, all my friends left me for the popular, or the players. Soon to realize the players only play them for one particular thing. And of course I know better then that, I am not giving that away until I feel right - yes I am talking about my virginity every guy is the same. Nothing is new with them, even those who are nice. They are just hiding there true colors.

I go Downstairs being greeted by my mom, Angelia. My father, Damien left me and my brother when we were only 2. We have never seen my father- Damien since then.

"Morning Ashlynn," I give her a smile knowing my mom she is very supportive. "How is your morning so far"

Her smile never lets you down, I give her a smile to assure her that my morning is going very well. My brother, Caden came into the kitchen.

"Morning mom, Chris is picking me up in about 15 minutes, I wanted to say goodbye!" My brother is only 5 minutes older then me. My mom gives him a smile and gives him his lunch bag.

"Well tell Chris I said have a good day," my mom smiles "and you too as well, son." She looks him in the eyes.

I look at my mom "I should be going now, "
I give her a kiss on the cheek "see you later."

I walk out of my house and start walking towards the school, I frown and sigh.

Knowing my life inside and out of school, that's not perfect, people may think that but I have gotten hurt so much in my past it's not even worth trying to date- or even make friends.

(At the school)

I go to my locker, I put my books up and get my first class, history I don't understand why history is on the morning, better way of making you sleep.

I get there and I see Jennessa and Gracie, they sashay over my way. "Hope your summer what..well boring like you" they giggle

I roll my eyes, "yeah will my summer was great, now will you excuse me." I sigh and walk away, I hear them begin to mumble under there breath. It's nothing new.

I get to my class and sit near the back, the back is more calm then the front, you don't have to worry about getting in trouble, being passed notes, it's just calm I'm the back.

30 minutes in the class the door slowly opens. Revealing a boy- more like a man, he seemed bad to my view.

"May I ask why you are late, Ashton?" The teacher said, I just stare at the scene, minding my own business really.

"No not really miss, now May I go sit down. My feet are hurting." The teachers nod and I guess the boy name Ashton walked towards my way.

"Hello, Mind if I sit here" he said, more in a sarcastic tone, of course I just ignored him. Knowing boys like him. They would want the same thing, and that's what girls don't want to go through.

(lunch)

Chris and Caden walk towards my table. I smile and wave at them, my brother and Chris are really my only friends, even if me and Chris barley talks.

"Hey sis, what have you been up too?" I look at him and roll my eyes, " we got a new boy in class, kept bugging me. But other then that I'm fine.."

He grips his hands together, knowing when he does that, he gets angry. He doesn't like when boys bug me, especially if they don't know me. And I can fully understand that.

(Ashton)
I walk over to the girl from History class, she is more then just a girl, quiet girl. She had two boys sitting with her. One of them looking more like her. Twins maybe? But who cares.

"Hey Quiet girl, I've been trying to get your attention all day, what's with the silent treatment..." I say in a sad fake tone.

"Maybe she doesn't want to talk to you, so just leave my sister alone, got it man." The boy said to her left. I get up and walk over to him. Pushing him roughly.

"I don't care who you are, or who you are to her, I can do whatever I please, you don't own anyone or anything in this school. If I want to mess with your so call sister let me have the fun I want, because I'll be Damn you tell me what to do, no move out of the way and go find a different table from miss quiet girl." I say in a deep husky tone.

"Leave my brother alone, leave me alone. I don't want nothing to do with you. It's the first day of school, I'm not trying to look like a damn noob! So please get away from my brother and I, got it good thanks, goodbye." quiet girl said with full of annoyance in her voice.

"Why should I, maybe I want my fun. Maybe I should take you to the janitors closet and we can have a game called touching one another."

Her eyes widens, I felt a punch on my left cheek, I look at it and it was the Darker kid.

"Leave my friends alone! They don't want to be mess with, so just take no for an answer and leave us the hell alone!"

(Chris)
I walk over to Caden and Ashlynn. I grab there arms and I leave the cafeteria. I smile to myself knowing I was standing up for people that are very important to me.

"Thank you Chris, I really do appreciate it. If you wouldn't have been there I would have been in a janitors closet being touched."

I face Ashlynn, "you two are my friends, and I can't have anything happening to you. I don't want you being hurt, so Ashlynn I saved you and Caden." I said hugging her.

(Ashton)
The school day is officially over, I look for Quiet girl and annoying boy. I have been needing to find them and give them a piece of my own mind. I see them getting into a car, I rush over to them grabbing the brother of the girl.

"You thought you could get away, no way. You will not get away with this," I say throwing a punch at him. "Leave me alone!" He shouts.

I felt being dragged away. It was a teacher.

"This is not Elementary school, this is high school. You are almost in collage and you are fighting like your in the grade of 4. Ashton I want to see you in my office right now!"

The teacher faces the others

"You may take the rest of the week off, I am sorry this is happening to you Ashlynn and Caden on your first day.."

So it's Ashlynn and Caden

(Ashlynn)
I smile, "don't worry about us, but we do appreciate the time off. Thank you." I smile more.

We leave and head home.
