Valt's P.O.V. (First person)
The team is fractured.
Everyone is pointing the finger at someone else. Now they are all relying on me to choose who to vote.
"Valt."
"Your vote."
"Make the right choice."
(Third person)
Valt buried his head in his hands. "But guys... we promised not to vote each other out."
"It's too late for that," Daigo said bleakly. "Make the choice," Honcho told him. "We'll all follow it."
"Pick, Valt,' Wakiya pressed.
"Do I have to?" Valt asked. Everyone nodded. "Then... I pick Xander."
Xander gave him a sad smile. "You made the right choice."
Xander's P.O.V. (First person)
When the game began...
You are the Secret, the paper read. Otherwise known as the Impostor. Each night, you will get a random role. Fulfil the task the role must do or be eliminated.
That's why Ukyo is dead.
I don't know why I picked him to die. I guess I was just so desperate to leave the Assassin role behind...
That's why I told Ken I was the other Magician. To cover up my own tracks and hopefully not let anyone know.
Valt's P.O.V. (Third person)
"I'm sorry," Xander said sorrowfully.
"Sorry's not enough," Daigo snapped. "You betrayed your friends. You should have just been eliminated. You are nothing more than an accomplice for the Assassin.:
Valt didn't vote. It felt wrong to vote out his friend. Instead, he clamped his eyes shut until it was all over.
"Please kill me, Assassin," he burst out.
He passed the game (Honcho didn't) and went to sleep, finally excited to see his friends again.
Then the Assassin struck. Five minutes later, Valt found himself in the ghost main room.
Everybody was there, except the Assassin.
Daigo.
