We arrive to the entrance of Groveton Road where Dean lives. He told me that the entire area was secluded in a remote part of town. I've lived in this place all my life yet this is the first time I've ever been here.

There was a long strip of a black road that led to a private street. When we reached it, we were greeted with a massive bronze gate that stretched about fifty feet. Alongside it were cobbled stoned walls stacked high surrounding the further parts of the property.

Dean typed in a code on the operating machine and the gates instantly flew wide open. He drove down the dimmed road where trees that were as high as the night sky were planted on every side. I was stunned by this gorgeous view, unaware if i've ever seen a structure similar to it.

Finally, when the trees were no longer visible, Dean follows the road and circle around a house so big that my mouth flew wide open.

It wasn't even a house, it was a mansion. It extended so far that I lost sight of it across the horizon. It was three stories high made up with sleek wood and dark colored bricks. I knew that this would be the first and last time I'd ever witness anything close to resembling a castle.

"Why are you so quiet?" Dean asks while driving.

"Sorry, I'm just shocked by your house. This place is humongous..." My sentence falls short as I continued to gaze my eyes at this incredible view.

"How come I've never seen this place before? Or at least never heard of it?" I ask curiously.

"It's been in my fathers generation for years. His family were always very private people so they wanted to disclose any information about their lifestyle which is also why this house is located in the middle of the woods far from prying eyes," Dean answers.

"What was so important about the way they lived that they needed to seclude themselves from others?" I ask.

"It doesn't really matter. We're here," Dean says as he abruptly changes the subject.

He parks in front of the entrance of the mansion and unlocks the car doors. I get out unsure of where to go until Dean grabs my hands and takes me to the front door. I couldn't help but feel quite nervous. He told me to not say a single word and to never leave his sight when we go inside but a part of me really wanted to leave. Dean made this situation sound way worse than what I had imagined.

"You'll be okay, just listen to me and everything will be fine," he smiles.

Dean opens the door and we step inside. The first thing I noticed were how high the ceilings were. I felt like I was in a football stadium due to the size of his foyer. In front of me were multiple couches and shelves stocked with books. A warm fire was lit in the center of the room that shined brightly. Although it felt empty, his house was glorious.

The theme of his house was more old money than new. It seemed a bit worn in rather than newly refurbished. Dean leads me to one of the couches and guides me to sit there.

"Now, remember what I said. Don't speak or move. Just stay right here and I'll be back." Dean walks away but I grab his arm in frustration.

"You never said anything about leaving me alone?" I whisper scream.

"You'll be fine here, I guarantee it. Alex, I really need to be somewhere right now. It's vital that I go and I'm sorry that I have to leave you here unaccompanied," Dean pleads.

"Where are you going?" I ask under my breathe.

"Just down the hall into a separate room where I have to speak to some people. I won't be long I promise," he says while tightly grasping my hand.
