The perfect boyfriend -ChanyeolStalking Chanyeol will not just be enough to get him back into her life. Hyeji thinks she needs to do more. Anything it will take to have him look at her the way he uses to, the way Chanyeol looked at her with so much craving, so much love, lust, and desires in his eyes. Hyeji wants all of that. If only she could turn back the hands of time, things would have been better. Now she is willing to do anything for Chanyeol to take her back.
After tracing Chanyeol to their son's school, Hyeji picks a cab back to a friend's apartment where she just moved into. The money Chanyeol gave to her earlier is far spent and she had lavished all on expensive hotel suites, buying herself luxury clothes, bags and shoes, and attending parties with her friends. And now, she has gone broke.
She manages to gain acceptance into a friend's house after all the money lavishing and partying ended, leaving her with nothing other than her luxury bags and shoes. Hyeji does nothing except waking up in the morning, take herself to bathe, apply her makeup, eat, and take selfies. While her friend Hwasa works her ass out to pay bills and cater for her in the time being.
Hwasa and Hyeji were roommates and classmates back in their university days. Both of them were like the BFFs of their class then. They did a lot together and had a lot in common, so to say how they became roommates. They like to party and have fun, they love to travel and explore, but one thing was different about them. Hyeji is over ambitious and materialistic, while Hwasa her friend is simple, level-headed, hardworking, and realistic. She believes that one has to work hard and smart to achieve good results, unlike Hyeji who cases the bag of cash all the time, without wanting to work for it.
As soon as Hyeji finished taking her selfies, she sits down on the couch in the living room of her friend's house, going through her newly snapped pictures to pick out the best for her Instagram post. Same time her friend Hwasa comes strolling out of her room for work.
Hyeji's eyes follow all her friend's movements, watching her struggle with her earrings due to her newly manicured nails, and how she grabs her shoes on the floor and begins to wear them after. And then Hyeji begins to wonder where Hwasa is off to this earlier, being that she (Hyeji) is jobless for the time being. Because, why not? Ever since she left the agency where she worked as a model, and traveled abroad with her lover, she breached the contract she signed with the company and ended up getting a lawsuit on her neck. Luckily for her, the man she left Chanyeol for, was in with a lot of cash that she thought Chanyeol never had. He did pay off the damages claimed by the company against her and proceeded to marry her shortly after.
Unfortunately for her, being that she is very materialistic, their marriage couldn't withstand the trials of life, as things began to fall out of place from when her husband lost his job and went into chronic drinking and gambling. This made Hyeji file for divorce and returned to Seoul for what she felt was still waiting for her; Park Chanyeol and her baby.
Unfortunately for Hyeji, the Chanyeol she knew back then, is different from the Chanyeol she's hearing about now. He's different from the man she has seen recently. The Chanyeol she knew then, was just starting his career as a music director and producer. Back then, he was still searching for a solid foundation to stand on, but this Park Chanyeol now, is fucking classy, rich, a man with power, a CEO who has thousands of workers and families under his payroll. He's one of the hottest CEO in town.
