Chris's POV:
"Hello," I laughed answering the phone for the third since I got off the plane. Katyana has called me every hour on the hour since we arrived in L.A. The only the thing that kept her from calling me during the actual plane ride was the no phone rule on the plane that I had told her about. If you haven't guessed we've only been here for three hours. Katyana hasn't miss not one hour it is exactly 10:00 p.m.
"Is she okay," I was unloading our stuff from my car to bring it in the house.
"Yes," I answered. "No need to worry Katyana. She is sound asleep in her car a seat."
"You left her alone in the car," she yelled. I tried not to laugh, she honestly thinks I'm still sixteen. I've baby sat my nephew and godchild since then. I know how to take care of a child somewhat, she act like I was born yesterday.
"No I'm Right here unloading our stuff from the trunk." She let out a breathe of relief. "She is fine," I walked over to Ari and put the phone in her window to let Katy hear her snores. She let out another breathe.
"Did you feed her?" She got worried again and I could imagine her on the other side of the phone googling supermarkets in the Los Angeles area.
"Yes she had pizza at the airport." I couldn't help but start dying.
"What's so funny?" She questioned.
"You lack of faith in me," I said in between snickers. "I got this. Dont worry your little head. I don't want that beautiful hair of yours turning gray."
"Ok I'll let you be," she backed off a little. "But," I knew she wasn't done. "If anything happens you better call me." She put emphasis on the word better. "My daughter has been in the hospital enough for a while," she mumbled something else. Something about some nigga Tyrone and some medicene but I let it go.
"I'll call you in the morning," she said.
"Ok night. Don't go to bed worrying about me it not good for your beauty. " she giggled hanging up. Saying that reminding me of how we used to face time every night while I was on tour.she always talk about how worried about me she was. I'd tell her that same line. I actually enjoyed those late night chats until she stopped answering them. Then even thinking about the calls became a painful memory. I guess once she found out she was pregnant she cut herself off from me knowing eventually I'd ask or find out. But that was I the past and now all I could do was move forward.
All our bags were on the curb. I went to the back seat and picked my sleeping princess up bringing her into the house. She turned a little bit and started rubbing her eyes. I put her down on the couch and went back outside to get our luggage. I took in the fresh smell of my house that I missed, the blessing of having a maid.
Rihanna's POV:
I heard Chris come home from his trip from VA. The door closed downstairs and I got up lazily. It was 10 o'clock at night and I was a lil tired. I walked downstairs thinking I'd see him on the couch but I peeked over the back of the the couch and instead of Chris. I saw some little girl tossing and turning in her sleep. I assumed that it was one of Chris's nieces, nephews, and cousins. I woke her up cause it looked like she was having a nightmare.
"Are you okay sweetheart," I shook her gently and she fluttered her eyes sitting up slowly. "Hi," I said lowly. She looked at me and her eyes grew wide.
"Daddy," she screamed hopping off he couch. I heard something drop outside and Chris came running in.
"Yes, baby girl," he pulled her into a hug dropping down to her height level.
