BELLAMYpulled a lever, effectively opening the door of the dropship to let his little sister Octavia exit and be the first person to walk on Earth within the past century. He paid no attention to the blonde girl ordering him not to do so. Everyone inside the dropship was at a standstill until Octavia shouted, "We're back, bitches!" Like they suddenly realized that they were actually on Earth, the hundred bounded off the ship, yelling excitedly.
Bellamy simply lingered in the door of the dropship, watching as Octavia sprinted away from the hundred and collapsed onto the ground, rolling around in the grass and giggling. Bellamy smiled softly, glad that he was there to share this moment with his sister. He looked at the tattoo on his right wrist, staring at the swirling letters of his soulmate's name. Maybe he'd find her here, this Clarke girl. Maybe he was destined to travel to Earth for this very reason. But he knew it wasn't likely: he still had to watch out for Octavia. That was his main goal. He'd always been her protector and planned that he always would be.
CLARKE kneeled on the grass next to a massive tree root belonging to none other than an even more massive tree. She inhaled and exhaled slowly, enjoying the fresh air. Earth's air tasted far sweeter than the dank, stale air of the Ark. She still couldn't get use to the fact that she was actually on the ground. However in awe she was at the fact, she knew that they needed to get to Mount Weather as soon as they possibly could and get their supplies. It wouldn't be easy making a living on Earth.
While she still had time, Clarke took in the sights around her. Huge trees with vibrant green leaves loomed around the clearing. Vividly colorful flowers filled the space and birds chirped around them. Clarke never wanted this to end. As she rested her head on the mossy root and closed her eyes, she completely forgot about her parents, Wells, and Chancellor Jaha as well as all of the hardships ahead of her and the hundred.
