Nobodies POV
Hours later.
Fred's hand reach over to snap off one of the icicles and a jagged razor burn of guitars, courtesy of the weird sisters, shatters the calm as we spiral down onto the dance floor which becomes a mosh pit, now hopping with bodies...
Fred slips the icicle down the back of Ezra's robes and he squeals, darting after him, Fred is laughing and runs as quickly as possible, leading us to Hermione and Krum. Hermione yells above the din:
"Her--rrry-oh-nee!" Hermione yells
Herm...own...ninny...?" Krum says
Hermione starts to correct him, then shrugs. "Close enough." Hermione says
Harry, Ron and their dates are sitting some distance away looking miserable. Hermione comes up after a great time with Viktor. "Hot isn't it? Viktor's gone to get drinks. Care to join us?" Hermione asks "No, we'd NOT care to join you and Viktor." Ron says
"What's got your wand in a knot?" Hermione ask "He's a Durmstrang. You're fraternizing with the enemy." Ron says
"The enemy?? Who was it wanting his autograph? Besides, the whole point of the tournament is international magical cooperation, to make friends and why about Ezra, his date is Fleur and you like her." Hermione says
"There going as friends Hermione, and he's with my brother and I can't believe you would even suggest that." Ron says
Hermione rolls her eyes, crossing her arms. "And Hermione, I think that Viktors got a bit more than friendship on his mind." Ron says
Hermione stomps off furious.
....
Ezra and Hermione are standing at the punch bowl. "Ron is so bloody infuriating, who the hell does he think he is to talk about my love life." Hermione exclaims
"He's jealous Mione." Ezra says
"No he's not, he's never showed an interest in me." Hermione says "he's a hormonal teenager and he's scared." Ezra says
"Your a hormonal teenager and you know what you want. I mean your in a happy relationship with Charlie." Hermione says
"Ron is straight." Ezra says
Hermione chuckles. "Okay that makes sense." Hermione says
Suddenly we hear the first notes of "Come On, Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Hermione freezes before placing a hand on Ezra's arm, gasping.
"Oh, my God. They're playing good music." Hermione says
Ezra pauses before smiling. "Holy shit. They are! They're playing good music!" Ezra yells
