"Darling come on, I've got a surprise for you!" Draco said smiling at me, pulling me along with him.

"Draco! Where are we going?" I asked giggling.

"I have something special planned for you."

"Well now I'm excited." I laced my fingers with his and we went across the castle to the music room. "What on earth are we doing in here?"

"You'll see." He bit his lip coming over to kiss me.

"I am absolutely not having sex with you here." I said making him burst into laughter.

"I didn't bring you all this way just to fuck you. But if you can't keep your hands to yourself after I'll understand." He winked making me blush.

"I'll try to control myself." I teased rolling my eyes.

"Cutie." He gave me a kiss on the forehead before pulling me towards the grand piano.

I leaned on the side of the piano while he sat on the bench and gave me a nervous smile. I smiled back and he raised his fingers to the keys. He started to play and I was in absolute awe. I had never heard such a beautiful song being played by such a beautiful boy. His eyebrows were furrowed in concentration as he watched the notes he was playing with the softest touch. I was very emotional and started to tear up a little as he finished playing. He looked up at me expectantly.

"I never knew you could play the piano." I said softly, to not break the atmosphere in the room that he created.

"My mom made me learn when I was young. No one really knows I can play."

"That's a shame because you play beautifully."

"Did you like the song?"

"I loved it Draco. What was it?"

"I uh, wrote it for you actually."

"You wrote that for me?" I asked in shock. "Why?"

"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I wanted to put that into a song. I can't say the words properly to explain how beautiful this whole thing is so I thought I would put it to music so that maybe you could understand what I can't say."

"Oh Dray." I said wiping a tear from the cheek smiling at him.

"Plus I was wrong to assume that you were cheating on me. I wanted to apologize. I'm sorry for getting angry at you for talking to Blaise, love."

"It's okay. I was just looking for you."

"I know that now. I'm sorry I jump to conclusions. I just don't want to lose you." He said with hurt in his eyes.

"You won't." I kissed him lightly before pulling back. "Will you play that song again for me?"

"Of course." He said laughing and blushing.

I closed my eyes and smiled as I let the music wash over me. I swayed lightly to it with a huge smile on my face. I hardly noticed the change in playing but I heard Draco stand up from the bench. He grabbed my hand and waist before starting to dance with me. For the next little while we danced, laughed, and stole kisses while we danced. When the music stopped he held me tight.

"I can't wait until the yule ball. I'll be able to dance around the ballroom with you properly and everyone will see and be jealous of how happy we are."

"I don't want to make anyone jealous Draco. I just want to be happy with you." I kissed his jaw before cuddling back into his arms.

"Of course (y/n). That's the most important."

I sighed knowing he wasn't being honest about that. I didn't want to start a new fight so I just kept it to myself. Draco wasn't happy unless someone else was upset or jealous of him. I was working on it but all the progress I had made on him was wasted when he went back to his parents for the summer break. Lucius made him even worse if possible and I had to start over. I didn't have much faith that I would get far this time though.

I hated that he couldn't be nice and fair to others but what was worse was that so far this year he has been stopping me from being kind as well. The jealousy and controlling behaviour was worse than any other year. We had only been in fourth year for a week and he had everyone scared of him again. It was like looking at a mirror image of his father and that really scared me. I hoped I would be able to change him back into the sweet Draco I had grown to know and love.

"Hey, I love you. Always remember that."

"I love you too Dray. More than anything." I gave him a final kiss before pulling away from his embrace. "Let's go before Filch finds us up here. I don't want to get into trouble after such a beautiful experience. Plus as I said I'm not about to have sex with you in the music room."

He let out a loud laugh and let me lead him out of the room and through the castle until we finally got to the dungeon. We got into the common room and he pushed me up against the wall to kiss me. There were whistles from Crabbe and Goyle.

"Get a room!" Blaise laughed.

"Bloody gross you two are." Pansy said rolling her eyes.

"Just jealous you're not getting any Parkinson." Draco laughed dragging me to his private room.
