Ochako P.O.V.

Many of us had sat down on the common room waiting for both of our classmates to arrive. We didn't know what to expect but we were all worried for both of them. Fear of not knowing what will happen is common, the fear of uncertainty. I started to play with the hem of my skirt while anxiously looking at the door, hoping that would come through would be the happiest smile I could see that was accompanied by his diamond shaped freckles, emerald orbs and mop of green hair. What I didn't expect was to see Bakugo come in first, hands in pockets as always and head down seemingly lost in his own world. Kirishima tried to approach him, but Bakugo seemed uninterested and processing something while going straight for the stairs and I assume that to his room. A few had followed after him but some of us stayed at the common area waiting for Deku. As soon as he came and appeared to be somewhat alright but still with wide eyes many sighed in relief, including me. I still approached him and as soon as he saw me, his face softened and smiled at me. I stared for a bit too long, lost in the bright smile and green sea that stared right back at me.

Apparently I had lost myself too much and was brought back with Yaomomo lightly tapping my shoulder and Todoroki stepping in front of me, thankfully covering my incredibly crimson face. "Midoriya, is something wrong?" He had shown his concern first, having been the closest to hearing Aizawa after he asked to meet both boys personally and the tone he had used, later relaying his message to us. "Nothing is wrong per say. B-but, do you think we could go to your room and talk Todoroki? All of us?" He peaked his head over the cold boy's shoulder and looked at me, then Iida, then Yaoyorozu and last Tsu who had also shown her concern ever since that night, but had not spoken openly about it, fearing that it would break her even further. She didn't openly show it, but we had shared a few moments together. "Yes, sure Midoriya. I'm guessing it's important?" He inquired, as if to get confirmation that the use of his room was only for major discussions. "Y-yeah, pretty much. I think K-Kacchan is speaking to his friends and it's only right we do so too."

We headed straight for the japanese style room that still baffled most of us how Todoroki was able to accomplish such a feat in a short amount of time. As soon as we arrived, we all took our sit on the floor making a small circle of six teens and we all kept our silence as to let Deku speak. He gave a sigh and looked like he was having an internal debate, before giving in and starting to speak. "You guys wanted to know about me and my past a few days back, and I think it's about time I tell you. I w-wasn't born with this q-quirk. A-actually, it activated when I s-saved you Uraraka..." He trailed off, something he had explained a while back to most of us when he told us about the beach. "So you were quirkless for ten years? *kero*" Tsu asked with some fear present if her voice, already making assumptions. "Y-yeah. I went to the doctor and he said that my chances of getting a quirk were slim to none, probably because of how powerful it is and the specifics for it. B-but that's the thing. I g-got treated like useless for it, therefore D-deku..."

Once again, he let us connect the dots easily as he had said that Bakugo had come up with the nickname to mock him back on the first day of U.A. when we were heading to the train station. 'When I changed the meaning of it.' I felt a small tug at the end of my lips, knowing that I had somewhat helped him before and now knew I could do it again. "Please continue" said Todoroki looking straight at him, waiting for more reveals. "The mocking only got w-worse throughout the years. I-in fact, because I wanted to defend someone from being beat up by Kacchan long ago, they beat me up instead, and they seemed to like it. After that, it was mostly Kacchan who used me as his punching bag, but he wasn't the only one and teachers didn't seem to care and some encouraged him to continue. It got really bad and a few years ago I started to have some..... dark ideas, but never took the final step to do so. Everything just seemed wrong and it was because of me being quirkless. That was why my father left me...... and why someone I looked up to told me to stop trying to be a hero."

The room had been filled with a depressive aura, waying on all of us down and making me slump down. We had all been extremely quiet, a few sniffles from Tsu and I while the small shuffling from Todoroki when he learned just how unfair the world can be to not only people like him. "I knew Bakugo wasn't the best student, but this.... this is just despicable." Yaoyorozu had stated with a cast down look and pondering on what decision to make. Iida found himself on the same situations because as reps, they may have to take action. However, Deku decided to intervene before anyone could have an outburst due to the blonde's actions. "That's why Aizawa called us and this talk isn't to make you hate him. I forgave him when he showed that he can and has changed for the better, and even apologizing after we talked with Aizawa. He put everything together but did not expel him because what happened now wasn't entirely his fault and I asked not to. I believe Kacchan is changing for the better and I am glad to see that, really, so please stay calm."

"But if he isn't the entire reason for it, then what led to..... this?" Iida had mustered up the courage to ask, trying to put a conclusion to Deku's story. He truly was one of the strongest of us. "A-acording to Ms. Joke, I have severe anxiety and trust issues, leading to many insecurities and doubts. After the raid on the Yakuza and the lost of Sir. Nighteye plus the new power of my quirk and not being controllable, everything seemed to come crashing down." We all kept our silence while I just leaned to my right and hug Deku that was sitting next to me, trying to show my support as best as possible. He tensed up at first, but soon melted into it and put a hand on top of mine.

"Wait a second..... so you went into the entrance exam without a quirk?"

"Y-yeah, pretty much Todoroki."

"Midoriya, you are strong as you are insane sometimes, but thank god it worked out."

Heyo, next chapter is Bakugo with the bakusquad feeling like a guilty piece of shit. As a character I really like Bakugo and his redemption but I still hate him for what he did and I'm going to make him worse in my other fanfic. I just can't forgive someone who tells others to kill themselves for something it isn't even their fault. Anyways, I got tagged and released the answers, please check out the authors I tagged cause they are insanely talented and nice people overall, you won't regret it. Tomorrow morning I'll try and finish chapter two of surging fists and yeah, that's about it. Hope you had or have a stunning day, remember that you are loved and awesome, no matter what some may think.
