She walked through the haunted corridor

Not sure what she was here for

A scratching from the doorway

A roar clear as day

Still the girl walked on

As an eerie light shone

Smelling the the scent of burning books

And the withered yells of terrified cooks

Her heart beat fast

At the things she ran past

Red eyes appeared in the wall

"Hello...?" she did call

But a big mistake

As she watched the slime slither up the grate

Because as she watched, she knew

It was coming for her too

Because, she realised

Who controlled those red eyes

Herself.

A smile crept across her face

In malice, this was the case

Because that evil way she smiled

Was because she was the Devil's child.
