Chapter 1

Tendai Pov (ten-die)
"Mmm mom your cooking smells so good" I inhale the sweet aroma of the kitchen "yeah love take a seat I'm almost done" she lightly pushes me away from her. I grasp the wooden chair and take a seat. "How's work been?" She reaches into the fridge.

I sigh and shake my head "well it's been work" I respond. I love my job I really do its just the people there they are almost impossible to deal with. "Avery please come down here" Ma says up the stairs getting no answer. She sighs "can you go get your brother for me?" She asks returning to cooking. I simply nod my head and start up the stairs. I bang on the door trying to get through the blasting music.

Suddenly the door jerks open almost taking me with it I regain balance and look up at him. "Mom said come eat" "alright I'll be down in a minute" he answers slamming the door back.

I shake my head and jog back down the stairs she looked up at me to see if I had succeeded. I shook my head and in return she gave a sigh "your child has problems" I take my seat just as he finally trudges down the stairs heading to give mom a kiss.

Trevor Pov
"Trev! Come get down here" I slightly opened my eyes to be met with a bright blinding light I whined and tried to let my eyes adjust to the light before rising up out of the bed.

I slowly make my way down the stairs grasping onto the wooden rails my legs haven't seemed to get the concept of walking this morning. As I stumbled down the steps a gust of wind caught me up from my big brother running past me.

I stumble a bit shaking my head continuing my limp down the wooden staircase. "Morning trev" my older sister passes by me with orange juice clutched in her hands. I return a nod not able to really adjust from my morning dizzyness.

"Boy are you high" ma chuckles out. I give a slight chuckle and shake my head "No ma'am" she smiles and shakes her head "I don't know about you boy" I laugh and take a seat
