"So with all of that in mind it is in fact, the maid. Obviously."
Sherlock had just wrapped up with the case, which he had thought was dreadfully dull, and was going to leave then, and Greg was going to ask him on a date. Well, to the pub but it's basically the same thing. Lestrade ran after him before he could leave. "Sh-sherlock, do you-." Before he could finish his sentence Sherlock interrupted.
"I really have to be going... I'm busy." and ran away.
What was with him? When Greg hat called him he said he was bored out of his mind and had nothing to do... so why did he say that? Greg just turned back around sadly and went to find the maid.
A day later he got a call on his phone. From Sherlock. Probably just asking for another case. He thought "Hello?" He asked him.
"Um... Hey. Are you at work?"
"No, it's my day off."
"Oh, okay." And he hung up.
"Great." He grumbled to nobody in particular.
"Now I'm in love with a guy that only cares about murder."
A while later while he was thrown across his couch watching crap telly, a knock came upon the door. With a groan, he paused the show and got up and went to the door, not caring that he wasn't wearing a shirt, only pyjama pants. He really hadn't expected Sherlock to be there. He just stood there wide eyed and staring at Greg's torso. "I ah...."
"Yes Sherl?"
"Um... happy Valentines Day." He quickly said to Greg and shoved the flowers to him.
Dammit. He had totally forgotten it was Valentines Day! "Uh, come in." He told him awkwardly.
After he closed the door he turned around to see Sherlock standing only a few inches away. God, those Cupid bow lips. And without thinking he closed his eyes and crashed his lips onto Sherlock's. He then saw him look surprised, but then closed his own eyes and deepened the kiss, making Greg moan. After a few minutes, Greg finally parted for air, which made a displeased, adorable noise from Sherlock.
"That was the positively best Valentines Day gift anyone has ever gotten me." Sherlock announced.
"Oh, I think I have a better one." Greg said lowly, and he led Sherlock to his bedroom, snogging all the way.
