why do we hold on so tight
to things that will eventually die?
why do we delude ourselves
cant we just take no for an answer?
everyone is telling me its time to accept and forget
then why cant i disentangle myself?
is it suppose to be so complicated?
or is that just what we say to console ourselves
what good are these words now
that actions have spoken louder
