Once upon a volleyball game
When everybody left
The ball and net would become sentient
They had an unrequited love
Forbidden
Frowned upon
"I don't wanna leave you" said Net-sama
"Me too, we must escape" replied Volleyball-chan
Together they hugged but as the door swung open to reveal the volleyball team back for late night practice
"Huh, that's funny I thought I heard talking" said a player
"Yeah but you're delusional" said another player
As they prepared to practice a drunken sensei waltzed in with a red face
"Sensei is drunk boys and nobody asked me how I am or what where when who I am" he slurred
The boys ran away as when sensei is drunk he tends to get violent
The sensei picked up the ball and slammed it on ground
"Ack!" The ball screamed
"NOOOOO!" Net-Sama screamed helpless
The sensei kept dribbling volleyball-chan ignoring her pleas for help when the sensei finally left volleyball-chan was destitute
"Volleyball-chan-" Net-sama got into his human form holding Volleyball-chans scarred face
"Net-sama, I'm not doing so well" She muttured out of breath
The couple hugged and Net-sama broke down into tears as Volleyball-chan's pulse disappeared
It seemed over
But he refused to give up
He princess carried volleyball-chan and ran to the nearest hospital
When they arrived Volleyball-chan was near death
Net-sama thought she died
But he remembered objects dont fucking have pulses :|
Since their equipment disappeared the volleyball club dissolved
And Volleyball-chan was bedridden
They couldnt hold their human form and as a nurse came in she gasped and called for people to throw away the random equipment.
They were going to be crushed and recycled
When they arrived at a factory
They silently cried as they shared their last kiss before they died
"I love you" Net-sama held Volleyball-chan tightly as the crusher was getting closer
"I love you too" Volleyball-chan sobbed
They were gone and turned into rubber
They now live on in object heaven
