As Christmas neared, Jirou pushed her thoughts and feelings aside and focused on the holidays instead. The band had a lot on their agenda, starting with decorating the studio around a week before Christmas. The holiday spirit was kicking in, and so was the usual noisiness of the band. The studio was in utter chaos.

"WATCH WHERE YOU STEP DUNCE FACE!" Bakugou screeched from across the room, a strand of bright red garland in his hands. His angry eyes glared at Kaminari, making the goofy blonde freeze in his footsteps.

He looked down and saw that he had almost stepped in a pile of ornaments. "Whoops, sorry," He said quickly, nervously laughing as he stepped around the pile instead, heading over to the couches where Jirou sat.

On the coffee table in front of her was a small, rectangular speaker which she seemed to be tampering with. A short chord was plugged into the speaker on one end, the other end plugged into her phone.

"Need help?" Kaminari asked, watching her actions with much curiosity.

Jirou shrugged casually in reply, her eyes trailing down to the phone in her hands. "I thought I'd test this thing to see if it still works. I found it lying around at my place the other day."

She could feel his eyes on her, as if they were staring straight through her. The sound of her heart was beating so loudly to the point she feared he could hear it- and his proximity surely didn't help with her jumbled thoughts and feelings. Distract yourself, she scolded her own emotions, her slender fingers quickly fumbling against the speaker.

The blonde watched as she pushed some buttons on the speaker and tapped a few things on her phone. A light glowed on the speaker before it blared a noise, signaling that it had turned on. Her brows creased in a slight frown as she examined the two items, taking a few minutes of tapping on her phone before Christmas music suddenly blasted from the speaker.

Bakugou nearly jumped off his stepladder at the sudden burst of noise before he whirled his head around, scowling angrily at Jirou and Kaminari. "GIVE ME A FUCKING WARNING WILL YA?" He screamed before glaring back at the garland he was hanging, a portion of it looped across the wall already.

Kirishima just chuckled, smiling. "Thanks for the music!" He called from across the room in his cheerful manner, turning back to the artificial Christmas tree he was putting together.

The band members had debated the other day on whether to get a fake tree or a real tree. After a long discussion Bakugou grumbled about how he had one lying around at their place.

As for huge assortment of ornaments piled in many bags, containers, and boxes on the ground near one corner of the room- Kaminari had somehow managed to haul those out from the depths of his storage closet to the studio.

The speaker and Christmas music was Jirou's duty, which she'd completed just then. Another task she had was to bring the LED lights that were being hung around the room by Yaoyorozu. She had offered the few boxes of icicle lights that were stored in a Holiday box somewhere in her apartment. When lit up, the falling strands of multiple small lights provided a cozy, glowing atmosphere to the room.

All in all, the decoration plans were settled in the end.

Jirou glanced up from her phone and the Holiday playlist she had engaged herself in creating, taking a moment to stare in wonder at the decorations. Despite Bakugou's loud, unenthusiastic yelling over every small thing, he and the others had completed most of the decorations.

The lights were hung up in perfect, elegant strands around the entire perimeter of the room's interior- no surprise for Yaoyorozu's delicate handiwork. Garland looped around nearly the entire room, all except for one incomplete side which the angry blonde was currently tending to.

Kirishima's tree was nearly set up with its fake pine branches carefully spread out, almost to the point where it could've passed for a real tree. The ornament-hanging job was left for Kaminari, which he planned on doing sometime before Christmas Eve. There was around one week's worth of time left for it, however, so he was in no rush to complete it.

Glancing over at Jirou, the blonde wondered what she was thinking of at the moment. Bathed in the warm glow of Christmas lights, Kaminari decided that her face lit up like in an angel's, emitting a beautiful aura. Her eyes were almost glassy, like she was lost in the state of some sentimental thought.

Her lips were rosy, delicate-looking and he was once again reminded of the times where they were almost pressed against his own. She looked like utter perfection, he decided. Kaminari wanted to kiss her softly, gently in such a way that would make his own heart melt. I love her. If only she was mine...

Sighing, the blonde forced himself to snap out of it because chances were that it would never come true. She was like a diamond to him, rare and hard to find- and chances of ever getting her were slim to none. Dammit, I'm here fantasizing while she probably doesn't even have feelings for me, he thought with a sad smile.

He could've stared at her face all day, but in the midst of the noise and clatter, he decided it was best to stop. Pushing aside his thoughts, Kaminari opened his mouth to speak. "Hey, uh, Kyouka?"

"Huh?" She asked, blinking a couple of times before turning to face him, a slightly dazed expression on her features. "Yes?"

"Can I, um..." The blonde began, pausing for a moment to decide what to say. "Uh..." I'm stupid- why didn't I think of something to say first?

Jirou raised an eyebrow at his confused expression. "What is it?"

He frantically looked around, his eyes landing on the Holiday playlist she had made on her phone. "Can I help you with the Christmas music?" He asked, hoping she'd say yes to make this whole situation less awkward.

She shrugged in reply. "Sure, why not."

Breathing a sigh of relief, Kaminari gently sat down on the couch beside her.
