P.O.V Sasha Henna: Year 2163
It is the year 2163. I have been trapped in this cell for ten years. The doctors that come here are aliens, what they want from me, I'm still not sure. All I know is that for those ten years I have been poked, prodded, experimented on, and had bits of alien blood put into my veins. Today is the day that I was sold to an ancient race called the Udran Garis, or shapesifters, ten years ago. By whom you may ask. By my own father...
10 years ago. Year 2153
The doorbell rang harshly, startling me from my sleep. Rolling over, I pulled the blanket over my head and tried to fall back asleep. The doorbell rang again, this time accompanied by someone pounding on the door. Groaning, I slipped out of bed, my small feet sliding into their slippers and I walked out of my room and down the hallway. My parents were probably in their "lab" where they studied what they called "extraterrestrial devices". Reaching the front door, I stopped and stared at it. My parents had told me specifically earlier today not to open the front door at all, but being six, my curiosity got the better of me.
The doorbell rang again, this time followed by another round of fierce pounding and a muffled, "Open up!" Reaching up I turned the knob and peeked outside. A short purple man with tufts of blue hair surrounding his wrists and ankles, his head a shock of white hair curled straight up, peered back at me.
"Well this one is a little small." He spoke, his voice sounding like pieces of rock smashing together as he reached toward me. A scream tore from my lips and I slammed the door, crushing the purple man's fingers as I ran away as fast as my legs could carry me and tore through the house, straight upstair into my parents' lab. This also was strictly forbidden but in my panicked state, the rule was forgotten.
Bursting in, I saw my parents hovering around what looked like a small, sleek gun. My father was tall, with brown hair that was streaked with grey. He was poking at the gun with a piece of metal while looking into a computer monitor. He was muttering to himself when I came bursting in and ended up dropping the piece of metal onto the gun, which then proceeded to absorb it and changed shape.
My mom let out a shriek of surprise and turned around quickly to face me. "Sasha, baby, what are you doing here? You know that we don't like you coming here when we're working."
"There was a purple man at the front door! He tried to touch me!" I cried out, hugging my arms around myself.
My parents both looked at each other and smiled. My mother reached down and took one of my hands, leading me out of their laboratory and down the stairs. When we got to the front door she turned to me and said "Ikk is a guest baby, so you need to be on your best behavior, okay?"
I bit my lip to prevent the 'No' from escaping and nodded instead. I waited in anticipation as my dad opened the front door and let the short man in. Ikk glared at me, cradling his sore hand and I hid behind my mom's legs. Another strange person walked in and I stared up at it in wonder. He was a bit taller than my daddy, with silver eyes and lightly tanned skin. His white hair was braided back and he wore a black cloak embossed with a silver symbol of intertwining lines. "Ah Counselor Karoba," my father said. "It's a pleasure to see you again."
"Of course," Karoba said pleasantly as he looked around my mother at me. "Is this the girl you promised me?"
"John, what is he talking about?" My mom asked daddy, a bit of fear in her voice.
"Be quiet, Martha," my dad snapped. "Of course Counselor Karoba she's ready for you, and the technology you promised me?"
"It will be here in a moment," the silver eyed man, Karoba, answered. I shrank back as he reached around my mother and picked up a strand of my red hair. "Such a beautiful color, the same shade as the Fuergish that my son is studying right now." Dropping my hair, he turned back to my father. "She'll do perfectly, thank you for your business," the silver eyed man snapped his fingers at Ikk and he started towards me. My mother screamed and picked me up, "No! You stay away from my baby! I don't care about your technology anymore! Just leave my little girl alone!"
