"You sure you don't want to come back with us?"

Marvin wrapped his arm around Anti's shoulders. The glitch didn't appreciate it and wanted to be anywhere else right now without so many people watching the affectionate gesture.

Marvin chuckled, "Yeah. Sorry guys, but I made a promise and I intend to keep it"

Anti tried getting out of his grasp but found it impossible, "You don't have ta, idiot. You can-"

The magician huffed, "You're not getting rid of me so easily, ya damn fool. Not leaving you alone"

Anti growled but didn't retaliate any further, instead, looking off towards Dark in the living room sitting with Celine and Wilford. They looked so happy all together. . . . . . .

Chase noticed that look in his eyes. He had never seen it in Anti before. In fact, he was starting to realize that maybe he didn't know Anti as well as he thought he did.

He remembered over a week ago when Anti was taunting them over the TV about having Marvin.

Flashback

"GIVE HIM BACK RIGHT NOW!"

"I don't know what you mean!" the other laughed in his face.

"You know DAMN well what I'm talking about! Give him back, you sick fuck!"

Anti nonchalantly picked at his nails from inside the TV, "What's the password?"

Chase seethed at him, "The password is FUCK-OFF! Now stop fucking around, you bastard!"

"Oh, I don't think I will. He's so fun to play with, you see. Maybe next time! Meanwhile, you better hold on to the others while you can, Brody. You never know how much time you'll have left with them!" he laughed maniacally, "See you boys later!"

With that, Anti vanished into the white noise, leaving Chase to punch the TV, busting it.

End of Flashback

He had changed a lot. Chase could see the maturity now he had gained. Perhaps taking his kids had helped him.

Not that he liked that idea.

And he still had to think about poor Elle. Yeah, he was still mad about that but he knew he couldn't hang onto his anger for so long and Elle was okay now.

In fact the only thing he could think about now was going home with his kids and spending time with the teacher.

Jackie was floored seeing Marvin and Anti together like this but he could see why Marvin liked him so much. Anti was stubborn and child-like himself. Marvin had spent about a year with the glitch. He'd know him better than anyone, really and after spending just a small amount of time around Anti themselves, it was clear why Marvin made this decision.

Anti was lonely. Terrified of being alone. That's why he took Marvin in the first place and burnt the bridges to keep him with him.

It was pretty messed up the way Anti went about it but it was understandable. Sort of.

"Just make sure to keep him out of trouble, huh, Marv?" Jackie joked with him, "Less kidnappings would be great."

"And stay away from the schools" Chase mumbled under his breathe. The kids were a little ways away from them all but still in sight talking with Host. Chase was . . . suspicious at first but heard him at some point telling them a children's story.

Anti huffed, "Whatever. Like I'd ever go to that hell-hole again . . .. I'll have to move out anyway."

"Vhy?" Henrik asked, "Not like we couldn't find you again"
