                                                                *Seth's POV*

I would tell Reuben how I felt... If I ever found him. Both Reuben and Luke were still missing, and I was growing increasingly worried by the second. Knowing my best friend, he probably abandoned Reuben somewhere, after branding him an 'abomination' or some other insulting term. After all, Luke was homophobic, wasn't he? These days, I wasn't so sure... I'd seen him grow jealous whenever Ollie was with that girl he'd picked up at the convention, and that didn't seem normal for a straight, homophobic young man. Unless he liked Stacey, which, I guess, was also possible, but I doubted it. 

Just then, I spotted a flash of red hair walking just ahead of me, Reuben. And by his side, laughing happily, pointing out the lines of manga comics on the stalls was... Luke? I guess, if me and Jack could some-what get along, then it wasn't impossible for Reuben and Luke to do the same. But even so, it caught me off guard, to the point where I almost, almost, fell over. Reuben placed a hand on Luke's arm, flirting? Surely now, Luke would kick his ass. To my surprise, he just smiled, lightly. What the fuck?

"Jack, I think my best friend's turning queer!" I blurted to the guy that almost hated me. He just stared, not at me, but through me, with weary eyes. "Only just noticed, huh?" Saying it like that, Jack made it seem as though Luke was obviously gay, like he ran around with a rainbow flag fluttering in the wind behind him. Oh, no. Not my Luke. "B-But, Luke can't be gay." I stammered. And it was true. Luke was homophobic, he'd never bothered to shy away from that fact, so how could someone who felt that strongly against homosexuals, be one?

"Luke likes Ollie, right?" Jack asked me, as though I'd instantly know the answer. The problem was, I did know the answer. "I... I think so." Praying that I wasn't wrong about this, and that Luke wouldn't beat the shit out of me later on, I made my way towards my 'boyfriend' and best friend. "Hey guys!" I beamed. Neither of them payed much attention to my presence. "Oh... Hey, Seth." Luke briefly acknowledged me. I gave him a grateful smile. "Look, I'm sorry for leaving you behind..." But it was Reuben that cut me off, speaking for the first time since earlier on today. 

"Seth, I'm not too sure that this is going to work..." He spoke slowly, sounding awkward, uncomfortable. The words didn't really seem to register with me, because rather than just agreeing to leave things alone and move on, I found tears welling up in my eyes. "Am I not good enough?" I asked, my bottom lip quivering. Reuben looked back at me with widened, shock-filled eyes. I was shocked myself. Hadn't I been planning on ending things with him, anyway? This was what I wanted, and it wasn't even me that had to be the bad guy. This was an ideal situation. But, for whatever reason, my mind didn't want to see it that way.

                                                          *Ollie's POV*

"Am I not good enough?" Seth's eyes were filled with tears, as Reuben stood frozen in place by shock. I'll admit, I was shocked, too. I never expected Seth to get upset over the thought of their ever-so-short relationship coming to an end. After all, it wasn't even really their choice anyway... Whatever, how confusing. Luke stood beside Reuben, I'd been watching as they exchanged flirty glances for a while now, jealousy burned up inside of me. Stacey was stood beside me, but I didn't really care too much about her right now. I wanted Luke to get away from the annoying redhead. He was mine. 

But, then I remembered our conversation back in the restroom. I'd been horrible to him. And for what? For the sake of keeping Stacey to myself. A girl I barely knew. A girl I didn't care too much about, now that I thought about it. I guess, I was just angry, and jealous, thinking that Luke wanted to take Stacey away. It should've been me that he wanted to steal, not her. Unless... Nah, Ollie. Don't get your hopes up over something that's never, ever going to happen.
